exactly what we were looking for; homestyle cooking, bottomless coffee (exceptional service our waiter kept the coffee filled without us even asking)— PLUS MIMOSA AND BLOODYMARYS. We were a party of 9 and there was no issue, they easily accommodated us; we expected a bit of a wait for the food but it all came out hot and at the same time! We will certainly be back here when we visit the finger lakes again!

Been awhile since we had eaten here, and we were not disappointed. We both had the Soup Flight - 3 different soups (all made inhouse I believe) with either garlic bread, side salad or grilled cheese sandwich. Served on a wooden plank that matches the wooden furniture. They also have pretty good baked goods, especially the "different"(as described by our server who also made them) glazed lemon cookies.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful breakfast!! Get the grilled sourdough bread and slather on some orange marmalade - yum yum! Then add a great cup of coffee and perfect fried eggs and bacon and home fries - yes, we were full. Great conversation with Robert, too, made for a great start to our Memorial Day.

*Customers allowed to cook-Friends of owner. *

Stopped here for breakfast the morning of Sunday 28Sept25. We stopped by after staying overnight in the south Seneca Lake area. The place was staffed with one under motivated waitress, I think the owner's daughter.

After several minutes we were able to get coffee in a couple of 8oz cups. Good luck getting a refill, I had to speak up to catch the eye of the waitress after she played to non eye contact game again, again, again and again, catering to the locals.

Once the food arrived after 25 mintues, the sausage gravy and biscuits were luke warm and runny as water. I sent it back and they seemed to forget about it. I had to get up to remind the waitress. Meanwhile there was no Ketchup at the table for the home frys. I had to get up and speak up for that also. Waiting for this caused the home frys to get cold.

Back comes the remade plate of sausage gravy and biscuits. The owner delivered and was pleasant and apologized. The food was just warm. I capitulated and at it.

Meanwhile I had a pc of the soggy toast that was part of my wife's omelet meal.

This seemed to be a local place where customers were helping in the kitchen, then sitting down for a meal. Probably thier meals. Not sure if that's legal. One guy in his 50's was walking in and out of the kithen, perhaps an owner, not helping at all.

I had to speak up for the check, which again inconvenienced the waitress. I left a $3 tip for a $27 dollar total. I had a hard time leaving that.

Keep driving by this place if you're not a local. They are grossly understaffed, and untrained. I hope my food was brought up to the correct temperature atleast when it...

I usually never do online reviews, but we stopped in for lunch today and we had one of the best experiences. Our plan was to meet at the Showboat Restaurant on the lake, but they were closed so the next closest option was Trails End. They were in the middle of the lunch rush, so we waited patiently for someone to come over to take care of us. Our server (who I almost think is the owner or maybe manager) ended up being so great, and immediately brought my daughter (who is just shy of 2 years old) out a plate of strawberries, blueberries, applesauce, and whipped cream along with whatever those pop toys are called, so that she would be occupied and have something to munch on while we waited to order. When she brought my daughters grilled cheese out, she had even cut the crust off for her🥰 Oh, and I can't forget the cake pop the server gave her for desert..she had a full course meal😂 Honestly probably the most welcoming and family oriented place we have been in a longggg time. If it wasn't such a far drive I'd probably make this a weekly stop for us. It's hard to find places that are so patient and welcoming of a toddler..so glad our original plan didn't work out, because we would have never stumbled across...

After waiting for 5 mins to be greeted we realized it's a sit anywhere place, 🙃 after being watched by the little girl rolling silverware for another 10 again without being greeted was ok. But what wasn't ok was the very rude waitress who came up with a half ass greeting, dropped the menus and went to walk away. Not even offering to get us drinks. Then she stopped to look at us and ask are you taking out like we weren't wanted in the diner. I hate to be the one but definitely gives the vibe that blacks arent welcome. Needless to say we left with having our order taken.. Very...
