Tavern — Restaurant in Town of Trenton

Just a great mom and pop bar/grill in CNY. We stopped in because we were craving some wings that were talked about on Google Maps as we were driving around. According to past reviews about Tavern on the Gorge about thier wings, we gave it a shot. When we got there on our particular Monday, the owner Bill said that the kitchen was closed on Monday's. After letting Bill know that Google Map reviews brought us there for the wings, he turned on the fryer and made us some of the best damn wings in the CNY area!! Low and behold, another group of folks walked in and saw us eating wings and put in a HUGE order of wings as well. Needless to say, we had a second order of wings along with playing a few rounds of Quick Draw till our wings were ready. Overall, a nice little bar with a great owner....

Local watering hole with friendly staff, good wings and homemade specials including lasagna and steak sandwiches. Stumbled on this place looking for a quick pit stop while traveling home on a Sunday. I called to order food and the lady who answered the phone was rude and seemed irritated that I was even calling. Its understandable that the kitchen staff doesn't come in till 1pm but no need for the rude behavior. Called back and now the kitchen doesn't open till 2pm. Guess they don't...
