1st time coming back with the new name and new owners and unfortunately to our surprise, not much has changed. Prices have seem to go up from the old menu/name and even worse the quality has gone down.

My wife and I arrived a early to grab a drink at the bar before our 7:30 reservation on a Saturday night. No surprise they were busy and we are always very patient on busy nights. We were acknowledged by 1 bartender and we politely told her not a problem. Waited about 10 minutes or so and then we watched another couple sit down across the bar from us. Another 5-6 minutes go by and that same bartender goes to them before coming back to us to serve them drinks 1st. I was a little annoyed but not a huge deal as we were still waiting for others to arrive.

We finally get our drinks (1 bottled beer and 1 old fashion which was made wrong) and the bill was $15. I was a bit shocked but tossed it out as a loss.

Once seated a couple people at our table wanted the prime rib as that is what we went there specifically for but then our waitress looked and sounded confused. She then told us they ran out. So we all had to think of other things to get. Mind you this entire time we've been sitting for aroub 15-20 minutes as the waitress just seemed like she didn't care much to come by and check us.

Once we ordered things got much worse. The dinner salad that a friend ordered ended up coming as an appetizer which was very small. It seemed as though it was a side salad but when she asked the waitress she said that's what it is. We were all confused why they brought her dinner salad as an appetizer when it's clearly on the menu as a dinner option.

When our food finally came out we all instantly could tell something was wrong when the plates were super hot but the food itself was lukewarm at best. The worst part about this entire night is we watched other people sit down after us and were able to get the prime rib. No one likes confrontation so after we paid our bill and got up from our table we immediately found the manager and explained everything.

We just wanted to give feedback as there clearly seems like a disconnect with servers to the kitchen. That or our server just didn't care much. We have no problem paying for high quality food and service but the near $100 dinner was absolutely not worth it.

Sadly I don't think we'll ever come back and that's unfortunate because we like the venue but the food and...

If you haven't been to Waller's on the Lake, you're missing out, Foodie Family! We were there for the first time last night and they did an amazing job from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted immediately by our friend Beth Rose and offered a drink from the bar, and if we wanted, we could take a relaxing history tour on the pontoon around the lake. YES, we certainly did! I highly encourage you to take the boat ride because it was both relaxing and extremely interesting—Captain Maxim Zernia really knows this lake's history.

For dinner, we decided to try a range of options from starters that could have been considered dessert to some interesting new options we haven't had before! Everything was really delicious and we had no complaints at our table. My favorite item was for sure the Wisconsin Donuts! A Wisconsin cheese curd with a light and crispy funnel cake breading, served with house-made raspberry sauce. Absolutely delicious—you could start and finish a meal with an order of these treats. The Beet Salad was also a table pleaser, and Jake's PB Poppers were a hit.

I had the Blackened Shrimp Bowl and Anne ordered the Pan Roasted Chicken. Our friends went with the Honey Bourbon BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and Cheesy Truffle Orecchiette. As I mentioned, we were a happy group because everything was delicious.

Save room for their made-in-house dessert specials as well. We will be back for more soon!

They have their official grand opening this Saturday starting at 4 PM, so why not head over and check them out? Even though they are already open, we think a celebration is in order! Join them on August 3rd for some great food and drinks, plus lots of giveaways. They will be giving away over $300 in gift cards, have some new merch for you to take home, and have some great specials for you to enjoy. Reservations are welcome, or just stop by and enjoy the party. Weather permitting, there will be pontoon boat rides and a fire with...

My fiance and I have come to Walden's for a few years and have always enjoyed the food and exceptional service, which is why we continued to return. Yesterday, Friday, July 1st, we arrived and were able to seat ourselves at our favorite table in the bar area and were pleased, as usual. Instead of the fish fry options we chose to treat ourselves to steaks, a choice we've never regretted at Walden's. Now, we haven't been there since my birthday in September last year, but we had no reason to second guess our choice. When our steaks arrived, a little longer than we've been accustomed to, we definitely were disappointed. She ordered sirloin, myself, the rib eye. They were barely warm and flavorless. I grill steaks often, and have never purchased a boxed, or generic rib eye or sirloin as they are unappealing and normally frozen for I don't know how long, often being refrozen one to three times over the course of shipping. In my humble opinion, I feel that this is what we received. For a combined cost of $36.00 that is unacceptable. Period. We are both very saddened by this as Walden's has sentimental value for us. We patronized the restaurant early in our relationship and it had become a comfortable and comforting establishment that we enjoyed immensely. The wait staff and barkeep have always gone above and beyond to make us happy returning patrons. Sadly I must say that is no longer the case. Neither one of us feel that $36.00 (food only, actual bill was just under $50.00) is an appropriate cost for such dismal cuts of beef. We are not willing to pay that much for prepacked, frozen steaks and would suggest to anyone considering a visit to Walden's to forgo that consideration and seek a different...

This was our first trip to WLSC and it was ahhhhhhmazing. First, the salad bar. It exceeded our expectations. We have never been to a supper club with a salad bar, just a relish tray and it was so good. A large variety of salads, including egg salad and macaroni and crab salad. And the hype over the hot bacon dressing is 100% true. Hubs got the baked french onion and I had the crabby cream of mushroom and it was delicious. I had a classic perfectly made Brandy old fashioned and the blue gill special while the hubs had a bourbon old fashioned and the prime rib. Hee ordered a loaded baked potato and Deanna, our server let him know that he could dress it up at the hot bar and his eyes lite up like a kid on Christmas morning. They serve prime rib EVERY DAY !!! That's amazing. We finished off the meal with a shared brandy Alexander and a Schaum Torte that hit the spot !! The atmosphere of the supper club was very cozy. Everything about the place was warm and inviting. We had two old fashioneds, one beer, bluegill special and prime rib that came with potato & salad bar. We added a cup of soup and a cup of baked french onion along with one ice cream cocktail and one dessert for $115. I unfortunately kept bringing up the prices in disbelief to the server because they were unreasonable. However it took me a moment to state that I was shocked at how affordable it was. I know working in Chicago means that I am used to high prices, especially with the labor shortage and increasing food costs. I was just shocked with the quality and value of our meal. The new owners are doing things right ! I can't wait to find my way back here. Wednesday December 14th, 630pm

This was legitimately one of the most pleasant dining experiences we have ever had. We are not local, so the concept of Supper Club is a foreign concept for us. But I would imagine if you looked up Supper Club in the dictionary, Wallace Lake would be photoset. Beautiful building with a perfect view of the lake. Interior is classy and well thought out. The lighting is beautiful Starburst chandeliers. Our waitress Rosie was so kind and accepting. Telling us all about the culture of Supper clubs and recommending great drinks and appetizers. My wife ordered the prime rib, and I had the aged Ribeye special. For appetizers, we had the wonton mozzarella sticks, which were incredible. I tried my first sour old fashion ( with their homegrown mushrooms and olives, asparagus, and Brussel sprout). It was perfect and one of the best drinks I've ever had. The meat was prepared perfectly. Sides were good, salad bar had great variety. Soup was ok. We finished the meal with their Schaum Tarte. Absolutely scrumptious! The experience was worth every penny, and we will be sure to visit again in our 8-week stay in Wisconsin. If you are close, make the trip. But call ahead and assure they have room for you. We did come the day before and ended up making a reservation for the next day.
