The restaurant doesn't take reservations that I'm aware of. It has a large, informal dining room w/ lots of tables moved & arranged as needed, plus a few booths. Most recently we were a family group- 8 adults, 2 kids, & 1 infant needing high chair- arriving during the busy period of their popular Friday fish fry & were seated within 15 min. Either stand, play games in the coinless arcade area (uses tickets purchased from a vending machine) or go to the adjoining bar to wait. Menus are at the tables, customers order & pay at a kitchen counter, food is brought to tables by wait staff. Our diverse order- pizzas (thin-crust & award-winning- deservedly so!), juicy cheeseburgers & fantastic fish frys w/ side choices, a kid's meal- were delivered in 10-15 min. Drinks are self-serve & pay from the usually crowded bar. When I realized I'd forgotten to order 1 of our meals (my wife's, no less!) several min. after our initial order, the kitchen counter person (who was also the super friendly, efficient, & accommodating owner) had the meal to our table within 10 min. It warranted a generous tip! Not from the area, this wasn't our 1st visit & definitely...

We must have really come on wrong night. When we placed order for 1 hamburger & two fish sandwiches, the bartender literally said " the fish was too expensive to use on sandwiches"( but on menu). The others then said they would have the fish platters then. When we requested 3 water, he asked what the 4th wanted? We clearly said there were only 3 of us. While we were already eating, a 4th expensive platter showed up, along with 4 EXTREMELY loud video game players. It was so loud we couldn't hear or have a conversation. Since staff weren't asking them to quiet down, my friends sister,( a nurse for 47 years) walked over & asked if they could lower their yelling. They didn't. When bill arrived it was over $70.00 !. I asked her to double-check but we just wanted to get the heck out of there. To add insult to injury, when she did call back to question the bill,( they had charged her for that 3rd platter)they hung up on her & blocked her calls. So as far as "neighborly & friendly", I suggest you order takeout as the food was delicious, but be certain to...

Love this restaurant but was disappointed that the phone was just taken off the hook this Sunday 1/26/2025.I had been trying to phone in a pick up order for over 20 mins, but there was a constant busy signal. Then decided to just drive there to place an order and then the broasted chicken special was already gone. I didn't quite understand why the phone was just taken off the hook, but that's what the employee told me upon arrival. It would have been nice if someone could have just answered the phone to say they were out of broasted chicken so I didn't have to drive all the way there just to find out ( or at least post on social media since can't reach via phone) .....plus I may have just ordered a pizza or something else if someone could have answered the phone. I guess the restaurant was to busy to take phone calls???.....Disappointing to say the least, Dont know of any other businesses around here that just take their phone of the hook during dinner hours because they're to busy. I decided to eat elsewhere for dinner after...

This is a local favorite. We have been coming here for a fish fry and pizza with family every summer. It is always packed when we've been there. Make reservations, especially if you have a larger group coming. The food and service is great. It is loud, but you can still talk to those next to you. It is just a great time. When our kids were younger they loved the arcade. At that time they had the paper ticket system the that spit out tickets that you could redeem for candy or prizes at the bar. You still can, but everything is digital now. Ever since the arcade switched over to digital pre-loaded cards, our kids haven't been as interested. Otherwise it is a neat little arcade. This year our kids enjoyed playing soccer on the grounds outside before and after eating. Just a beautiful setting in the woods.

Update Feb 2022: I just waited 57min to get a 1/2 cup crispy rice, burnt broccoli with Panda Express orange chicken sauce on dry steak at a restaurant in Manitowoc. Their brick oven pizza was ok. Their $8 (8oz) coffee cup sized Old Fashioned was not. If you have to change your menu every week to pull in customers that's your thing. Definitely not a family restaurant. I won't be back. Don't fall for the gimmick. ****Thank goodness there's consistency, a great family atmosphere, great food, drinks at a rational price at Port Sandy Bay. Nothing bad to say about a Two Rivers go to.🍕🎉🎉

The quintessential northern bar. Loved it. Stopped in for fish fry and enjoyed an excellent walleye dinner. They offer a varied selection of fish: pike, bluegill, perch, haddock, walleye. The place was quite busy and though the staff was apologetic... We found them to be very efficient and our meals arrived freshly made and hot. The fish was lightly breaded by hand. Side potato salads and coleslaw all made from scratch. So good, definitely hit the spot!
