Yesterday I happened to be working in Kingston area and went into Di bella's. The woman behind the counter could not have been nicer when I asked all sorts of questions about how the eggplant was cooked to what she suggested I get on my pizza in the way of extras. I opted for the broccoli rabe & bacon which she went into the kitchen and made to order. It was WONDERFUL! The crust on the pizza was ever so slightly crisp, but not burnt, the bathroom impeccably clean and the pizza so good that I started eating it in my car rather than taking it back to the job site. Great place, high standards for a pizza shop, but then that might be an understatement to call it that because there are tables, no bright overhead lighting and a bar area where people on lunch break were eating and talking w/ the owner. Small pie had hot peppers and pepperoni. Two additions that cost an additional $7 on a $15 small pie. We used to frequent Dibella's all the time. Not so much in recent years. Food has gotten worse and prices have gone way up.
Also, there were 3 or 4 people at the bar area 10 ft away hollering and having a good time. I have no problem with anyone having a good time but at a place that serves me food, I would prefer people wear masks. None of them were.
Too bad,...
