Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Unadilla

I give 4 stars because Dunkin' is just awesome. However, and this is a Sidney problem across all chain restaurants, the staff - especially late night, is uninterested, rude, inconsiderate of their customers, and even in the face of what I'm sure they'd consider a "freebie" the atmosphere behind "ugh I don't want to carry your payment across the 7 foot distance to the register" (magically it's the opposite register when you go inside instead) just spoils any satisfaction and leaves you wondering if you're drinking spit. It's an epidemic in Sidney, you drive 30 minutes to the one Dunkin' open later than 8pm to find they've closed early, aren't making food, etc. It's McDonalds little sister. I love the mandatory delay in answering the drive thru is a hopeful attempt to mislead the customer into thinking they're closed, you have know better and insist on waiting to get an eventual annoyed answer. Meanwhile the contract between this Dunkin' and the 7/11-owned Speedway dictates that Speedway can't sell coffee...a 24/7 exclusive fuel station on a major traffic route is losing insane business overall because late night you just can't get coffee anywhere but McDonalds. There are staff that are friendly, committed, etc - but Sidney seems to constantly be at a loss, and if this is the atmosphere for those few good apples, it's no surprise that they leave so quickly. Go before 8pm if you want decent service an the full Sidney Dunkin' array of menu options, the 11pm closing time is honored only by the power to the primary register and...

Each time i’ve come to this location, it’s been the best compared to the surrounding locations within a 50mi radius. Drive thru gets busy so plan a couple extra minutes on your order being ready but overall, my food is always good, coffee has always been perfect, and i always have received nice customer service from the drive thru. My drink seems easy but for some reason about half of the locations i go to mess something up in it, meanwhile this location every single time has gotten it perfect. I love stopping here on my way to work. I greatly appreciate the smiling faces and nice attitudes every morning or afternoon i stop in. my order is a double shot over ice with 2 pumps of french vanilla and a splash of oat milk, and it’s amazing! i’ve also had some locations try charging me over $3 when this location and 2 other ones always charge me $2.50-2.60. i love the...

I explained I'd like to get a drink made in my travel mug. Firstly she thought I wanted drip, which I never said that. Staff just assumed. I said no, I'd like a latte she can't make it in that mug. Ok, that's fine. Might not fit under the brewing machine.

She said she can make it and I can transfer the drink to the travel mug. Sure good enough.

I told her I wanted a Large hazelnut latte, with and extra shot. The amount to be paid seemed off.

I got my receipt and it did not have the extra shot I requested on there. So I brought that up, and she told me that she puts it in there, that the latte comes with espresso... as if I didn't know it had espresso in it. .

Lady you need to learn to communicate better and listen , or learn some basic lingo. Extra shot means MORE espresso, not someone asking if it has...
