Gordo Mike's BBQ LLC — Restaurant in Town of Walton

Having a fun road trip day with my friend and we found this treasure!!

We stopped by Gordo Mike’s bbq looking for a place to grab something to eat and keep going but we were surprise about the quality and taste of this place!!

We had the special ribs, pulled pork and Italian sausage, the pulled pork is out of this world! It also came with two sides, I usually don’t like Mac and cheese but this one are amazing, not sure how he makes it or what kind of cheese.

We end buying a bunch of his special sauce, he explained us how he makes it, everything looks natural, we will order some in the future I’m sure about that.

So freaking good! We finally got the chance to pop in for lunch today and I have to say, tastes as good as it smells. Mike is a delight and working so hard to incorporate as many local ingredients as possible in the food and decor. The chicken is so juicy and smokey you don’t want or need sauce. The pulled pork is also a winner, some of the best we’ve had in years. The potato salad, bbq beans and Mac and cheese (with bits of the smoked chicken in it today!) were all fantastic. I recently visited Mike's and had an awesome experience. The ribs were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the sides complemented them perfectly.

But what truly stood out was the owner's incredible kindness. I didn't have any cash on me, and instead of turning me away, he insisted I enjoy the meal and pay him the next day. It's rare to find such generosity, and it made the delicious food taste even better.
