Pizza was delivered completely cold, arriving two hours after placing the order; it was obviously sitting around for awhile, and was frankly the worst slice I've ever had.
Mistakes happen. The low rating in particular was for the business' response, which was unapologetic and disingenuous.
70-80 minutes after placing the order, I called the restaurant, asking for an update. It took them several minutes to even find the order (placed online, via their own website). They said the pizza had just come out of the oven, and would be there soon. I asked for reassurance the pizza wouldn't be cold, as they seemed unprepared on the phone (taking several minutes to find the order), and it was already 80 minutes at that point after I ordered -- for one large pizza. They said it would be hot, and was coming out fresh.
I'm five miles away, and this was in the middle of summer. The pizza arrived completely cold, about 40-45 minutes later (and two hours since the order was made). This wasn't lukewarm pizza; this was flat-out cold pizza that was clearly sitting on the counter for two hours. It was absolutely disgusting. Was hard to tell whether it was left in the back of the delivery driver's car, or in some corner of the restaurant. Either way, was the worst slice I've ever had.
Clearly, they had made the pie awhile ago, and forgotten about it, and instead of making me another fresh one, they put in the disgusting one that had been sitting out for over an hour.
I called to complain. The woman on the phone had nothing to tell me, other than the fact they couldn't make me another pie because it was too soon to closing (closing wasn't for 45 minutes). I asked for a refund to my credit card. She outwardly refused. I requested to speak to a manager. He offered me a coupon for a different night. I said that was unacceptable, as they had already lied to me once tonight (regarding my delivery time and the pizza's freshness) and I didn't want to chase them for a refund later, so this would have to be resolved tonight. After several minutes of back and forth, further wasting my time -- where they blamed COVID for a cold pizza and general organizational incompetence -- he finally provided the refund, while adding that they won't be delivering to my area anymore anyway -- which is the village of Warwick, five miles away.
Delivering a pizza five miles away, and keeping track of a single pizza order, is apparently way too much for Saporito's. Avoid ordering from here at all costs. You may be revising for dinner plans at 10PM, with nothing but a cold box of pizza with food...

I am irrate with the treatment received at Soporito Pizza. As a Door Dash driver, I have had pleasant experiences previously regarding deliveries. Yet, those experiences were in the day. Tonight I had an order for a few items. Once I stepped in, I could see items on the top shelf that resemble what was ordered. However, when I asked about the pizza, it was incomplete. The matter wouldn't be an issue except that ten minutes became 40. While waiting I realized that other customers are recieving their order and my customer's order was being neglected. After a while I realized that they were lying to me about how long the order was truly going to take. I feel terrible that my customer could not receive their already paid order in a proper time.
I will think again about accepting...

I'm from Brooklyn, my husband is from staten Island, and it's hands down the best pizza around this area. Before they opened we were really settling for the places around. They're so so friendly, and even catered my at home wedding. Everyone LOVED the food, they were shocked when they heard it came from our local pizzeria. I also just want to add for those who had a negative experience, every restaurant has a bad day once in a while. Has it happened? Sure, but 9/10 times being perfectly delicious is a rare find. They also get absolutely swamped with orders some days since there aren't many places around. If you've had one bad experience, I guarantee they're worth giving it...
