I’m going to be honest. I researched before going there and based on the description on the website under “about the chef“, I was expecting to find a gem. When I first went in my first impression was blah. The woman barely took my order. It seems as though a lot of locals go here, and perhaps she was more concerned with the locals than new patrons. Actually, she didn’t even take my order in completion. She kept walking away when I was trying to speak. I had to order from two different people, ultimately 3. I was disappointed by the level of service I received. Secondly, They didn’t have any of the items that are imaged above. The pastries aren’t made there, they are a hipped from a bakery. The apple turnover was very thick and barely any filling. I was just all around disappointed - they could do better by acknowledging all patrons and not just their friends, or the locals. And left a bad impression on me that she didn’t even have the time to take my order it all. On a sidenote, it takes a lot for me to not give five stars, but this is not “culinary institute of America” quality. IMO average at best, but prob considered good for the area.

So my husband stops here regularly for mussels to go for dinner. Their mussels are amazing, the sauce is great and you get more than 2 dozen mussels for less than $12! We went there for breakfast this morning, I had 2 eggs, bacon and toast with coffee and my husband had the same with home fries..again $12! I would absolutely recommend this place, cute atmosphere, they sell honey, some sundries and hot sauces! The prices are unbelievable and the food is top notch, plus the staff is friendly...

I’m from north Jersey and moving up this way was a real bummer in the food department until I found this place! Everything is homemade… and it’s amazing! Haven’t had one thing that wasn’t so fresh and so good! Amazing place! And the owner is so sweet! Love it! My new...
