I've been with my other half 14 years and this weekend l took him to Yoder's. We got lost using the GPS but it was a beautiful day and he said how are we going to find it? I said look for the little wooden sign. He said where? I pointed and said like right there and soon we were there. We bought two doughnuts glazed, some double chocolate cookies and zucchini bars. He first sampled some cookies and then we sat in the car and ate the doughnuts. This was 2 pm and the doughnuts tasted like they were just made. First he chastised me for holding out on him and not taking him sooner. Then came up with an analogy they are the Maplewood Meats (Green Bay) of bakeries. Strawberry Rhubard pie, Rhubarb Dream Bars, Pecan Pie, and an assortment of cheese and fruit filled donuts. From the first bite, I was hooked. It was like a slice of heaven in your mouth.
