Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Town of Waterford

The pizza itself is pretty good, not amazing but good. The wings is where we had problems. First, they weren't crispy in any way. I could get over that, No problem, but then I realized my wings had feathers. Not just a stray chicken hair, full on feathers. When I called to complain, the owner got on and told me that this is how that are, that they do not check their wings before cooking them, they also don't slaughter and pluck their own chickens so they had no control over what went out the door. When I said that was ridiculous, he hung up on me. When I called back I spoke to another man who said that the best they could do was have ME bring them the wings and as long as we hadn't eaten any then they could refund me half the cost of the wings. When I explained that actual wings were on the bottom of the container the second man responded I know that happens but I need the wings back. This is ridiculous. I get that sometimes things happen and to be honest a simple I'm sorry would have gone a LONG LONG way, but they didn't do anything...

We’ve been ordering from this place for years. At first, it was fantastic. The last 3 times, including tonight, it’s less than impressive. The pizza dough has been tasting very bland, and the sauce as well. Now, it looks, and tastes, like a “take n bake” pizza from a grocery store. The wings always taste like old oil lately too, and when you go in there, that smell sticks in your clothes. They’re even messing up orders lately. The last time, the pizza was sloppy, like soup in a box. This time, they sent the wrong wings, and cooked them wrong. I just tried to call (at 750 pm)to order a pickup order and even though Google has the closing time listed as 9pm I was greeted with "hi sorry we are actually closing up right now" and hung up. I've been waiting all week for my day off so I could get the kingsteak sub I've been craving and called during business hours. I'm a cook at another restaurant, and we're almost always understaffed but that has never meant we just go home early. This is a ridiculously bad business move.
