The restaurant is located in a large building with a lot of open space, there is more than enough room and i believe i saw a side room that maybe they can host events such as birthdays, showers, speaking engagements and even dance lessons! The lighting is pretty low when you walk inside at night, so be prepared. It is seat yourself, not my favorite, but we still sat. The atmosphere is very casual, I would have liked to see the servers doing something more than sit around in plain sight and eating, but again this is a casual environment! The servers are very knowledgeable and very friendly, nice and smile no matter what.
They have a very good selection of beers, I did not enjoy one this visit. We did however, order a glass of wine from Portugal and unfortunately this was not available, sad face. Nonetheless we still ordered another glass of wine, a zinfandel and that was very tasty! I also highly suggest the strawberry-rhubarb lemonade, they make their own syrups. To start we ordered the fresh mozzarella crostini with balsamic reduction and french onion soup. Both were delicious, the mozzarella was soft and silky and firm along with the plum tomatoes and the basil was very green and vibrant and the bread was toasted very slightly and served as a great vessel! This appetizer served 6 pieces, 2 per person is feasible. The presentation on the plate was very appealing too. I would have like for a slightly more acidic balsamic or something with a bit more pop and tartness, perhaps order a side of this sauce and try for yourself. We ordered for dinner the pork belly, the brisket and the pork belly pot pie. All the dishes are very beautifully plated and have enough food on them to share. The least favorite would have to be the brisket, it was dry as if it were in the oven too long and the bbq masked the taste that brisket is supposed to have and we could not find that nice crust or smoke ring. I feel this dish fell short and if executed properly could be a very good dish, leave off the green beans or let them be as a substitute and add more of those onion rings! The pork belly pot pie was probably my next favorite, as who doesn't like a pot pie mush and a lovely crust? The plating is pretty interesting as they serve the crust atop of a bed of pot pie goodness and was very tasty, flaky and a puff as they called it. I cut up this puff into fours and used it as a vessel to scoop up the pot pie. Very tasty overall. The pork belly dish, was another dish that if executed well can be another signature dish for the Cruise. The pork belly was missing its succulent, savory flavor and covered in cherry chutney. I feel if the chutney had been an accent more than a cover and the pork had been on its own instead on top a yummy pile of mashed potatoes, the dish would have been excellent-oh and again, the green beans could be an add on for an extra cost or perhaps a substitution. Do not get me wrong, the green beans were very very tasty and it is easy to over do fresh beans, I could have had these on their own with my soup or just a side of mashed potatoes and be satisfied! As you can tell, I take pride in tasting and savoring meats like a good cut of beef or pork and I was sad that the brisket and the pork belly pieces fell short. However, the menu is large and they do a variety of items. I feel if they would trim down the menu a bit these dishes could stand out. I may be biased as I am not a fan of a restaurant trying to do so many items--honestly, in my opinion, do something you're great at not a thousand things you're good or ok at.
Overall, I loved the open concept, low lighting and friendly servers, the food was OK but I know it can be great so I will go and give this place another try. Might I add that the pizza looked and smelled delicious! I am willing to try next time!
Again, this is MY opinion and MY taste buds and expectations are very different from yours. Also, if you do not like something ask for it on the side or ask to omit it altogether! Chew at...

We drove to your restaurant due to the coupon in the Entertainment Book. Your description of your establishment is very enticing and upon arrival very disappointing.
First impressions = pole barn. The Entertainment Book description brings to mind a quaint restaurant, and probably on the water. Food description seems elegant, perhaps tapas style with jaw dropping presentation which was far from reality. Glorified pizza joint is the reality.
Food = overpriced, additional charge for extra items, unappealing selection.
Experience = we ordered a draft beer and merlot with a Classic 16" pizza with the addition of sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom. Bartender - distracted by young man at bar and provided very poor service. Her phrase of choice, "have you decided yet?" After hearing her say that at least a dozen times it became very irritating. The waitress who delivered our food was pleasant. My husband asked for a little side of sauce to dip in. When the bill arrived there was a charge of 1.75 for a salad dressing size side cup of sauce. If there are additional charges, the patron should be informed upon ordering. We would have forgone the 2 tablespoons of sauce. Our comment to each other was my gosh there is an extra charge for EVERYTHING apparently - is there a coin machine of the toilet paper rolls in the restroom? We noticed another patron returning their pizza to the kitchen - this was prior to ours arriving. Once ours arrived we found out why - your dough and pizza is not cooked enough. Even though the edges of the pizza is burnt, does not mean the toppings and the dough is cooked. Very, very tough dough. Nothing impressive at all about the pizza that was described with such grandeur. For a $35 bill even with a coupon, our expectations were far from met. It was Pizza Hut at best and would not pay more than $10 for the product we received, let alone $1.75 for 2 tablespoons of sauce in a cup. With all that said and with our disappointment, we both felt full upon leaving, and then uneasy, and then, you guessed it = diarrhea! Both of us - what the hell? Undercooked pizza perhaps? Cleanliness? who knows.
Needless to say in summary, your marketing is misleading, your food quality is poor, your service is poor, your ambiance is poor, your food made us sick and we would caution anyone from trying your...
Read moreThe menu is an eclectic mix of various pizzas, sandwiches, meals and appetizers, along with an excellent beer and wine selection. They offer Central Waters beers on tap. If you haven't tried beer from this Wisconsin craft brewery you are missing out, and having this kind of selection on tap is welcoming.
We had the duck crostini appetizer, French onion soup and the rustic pizza. All were excellent and had great flavor and we're obviously prepared by an inspired cook/chef. Service was excellent too
I would have rated it with 5 stars but the atmosphere is really weak. Set up like an old time dance hall, the dining room is long and wide open and very uninspiring with a stage at the north end of the room. The acoustic panels near the peak of the pitched ceiling look odd, kind of like they are covering up skylights. Built only 9 years ago, it could use a change in interior design to make it more welcoming. One other minor thing was the waitress vacuuming the floor around our table and another groups table while we were all still eating. This should be a no-no in any restaurant.
Price-wise this is not the cheapest place to eat, but the food and drink is a much higher level than just bar food at some corner tap.
Overall the food and service was awesome and we...
