Palmers Last Stop — Restaurant in Town of Wayland

On a drive back from Canada myself, my husband, adult daughter, teenage daughter, and four year old twins, after driving for hours to come across the border hundreds and hundreds of miles we got hungry and decided to look for a stop which showed us the laugh a lot restaurant when we arrived there. It was 701. They said they stop serving at seven another patrons who was there at the same restaurant recommended Palmer‘s last stop, we put it in our GPS that was slow to react because of how far into no service area we were and we found it about 4 1/2 miles away from the first stop we arrive there and we’re walking in right behind the people who recommended it to us we got there and about 15 minutes after she came and took our drink orders and came back about 10 minutes later with our drinks. We were the last to walk in but the people who walked in a few steps ahead of us was served and completed their meal before our meal even arrived. My husband’s food was cold , I ate mine because I was starving and just requested to go plates packed up everything left after I paid my bill and left a tip. We waited for over an hour near to two hours before we finally got our food. Fun fact we’re black thoughts anyone. And the only reason we paid for our food is because we were in a rural area. It was my entire family and we don’t want to refuse to pay for food and service that we did not get or like because we don’t want a situation where we are running...

A friend and I had lunch at Palmers Last Stop today. We had planned to go somewhere else for lunch, but that place was closed for the Winter. So, having never been here before, we were very pleasantly surprised at how great everything was here. We immediately felt comfortable and liked the ambiance. It's very light and open, not dark like some places. Our waitress was very attentive and patient. It took us a little while to figure out what we wanted to order, they have a fairly big selection of food choices. I got a turkey, bacon and Swiss cheese wrap with macaroni salad and my friend got a Ruben with Cole slaw. We both really liked our food. We also happened to see another friend there. Ordered a Friday night fish fry. My wife had fish fry with baked potato and a salad. I had the fish fry with baked potato and Mac& cheese. Plus drinks Neither one of us ate the fish because it did not taste good. It tasted old and bad but we did eat everything else which was okay. Told our waitress and she apologized and offered us a discount, upon receiving our bill we got whopping 4dollars off the whole bill, 2dollars per meal. So we ended paying over 37 dollars for fish that was inedible and drinks. We did tip the waitress well because it was not her fault that the cook doesn't know what's good or bad or maybe just doesn't care. This was our 2nd time eating there we will not eat...
