Update: I’m just really trying to like this place but after another visit, this time for breakfast I just can’t get there yet. Got the “braveheart” came with well over cooked pouches eggs, and beef hash that tasted like straight dog food, and didn’t even eat, with no option to replace. Never again.
Went in last Thursday just to check the place out. Sat at the bar ordered a fish had a pleasant time. Came back to bring the family the next night, because my husband was impressed by the fish and LARGE portions I had the day prior. As pictures prove, things are definitely not consistent and was definitely a let down and no one could understand what the “issue” was. Next: I order a steak, had way WAY too much seasoning on it, it was awful. The server was nice and had them make another one, with one major issue….were the cooks just in that much of a hurry they just seared it and sent it out raw to the table and rushed out to the bar to get their end of shift drink? The amount of people the hostess turned away from wanting a drink at the bar at 830 was shocking as well. Even as far as trying to rush my family out at 845 when I wanted to order another drink. Bartender noticed and came over to ask what she had said, I told her. Next thing we know hostess is behind us with our server talking about us, how “those people said I was rushing them”, no the bartender saw what she was doing and was checking on us after our interaction. “Those people” were also just waiting for our server to not be so busy so we could talk with her about who to talk with for a “business inquiry” ANYWAY. Long rant, food portions need to get situated. Cooks need to learn how to cook steak properly, and your young and learning staff still need a lot...
Read moreVery small inside. Which is OK, but it was noisy and cramped. Small can be cozy, but this was not that. The hostess will talk your ear off if you're not careful. Our server spoke like she as a robot trained to say certain things but didn't care one way or the other what our response was. She was looking off elsewhere while rambling away. And the bathrooms... FREEZING. I have been to other places that have what I would assume are chilly bathrooms, but you wouldn't know because they have space heaters in there to make it comfortable. Who wants to pull down your pants in a room that's as cold as it is outside? There was no place to put your purse down. And I have invisiliners, so I need to brush my teeth and liners after I eat. That was fun. It was freezing, the water was cold, I had to have my purse on my arm while getting out my toothbrush and toothpaste and brushing. Then had to pull my liners out of my purse, brush them, put them back in my mouth while holding the toothbrush and toothpaste. Then had to put everything away while still holding my purse on my arm. It was like being in the circus. I have not had any trouble in any other bathroom. For this reason alone, I will probably not be back. At least in the winter months and while I have my invisiliners still. It's just...
Read moreWas there for my birthday lunch with a friend.. Sat immediately..indoors. Waitress..Jazmyn..stopped by and said I will be with you in a minute.. She returned to table many minutes later and asked if we were ready to order.. I inquired what kind of cider did you have. She left and returned with the bar menu and left us for another 5 minutes. Turned out there was one cider on menu and it took me 2 seconds to see that. After the waitress returned I mention that there was only one cider on the menu and she could have told me that . She than stated" I don't drink". My eyes widen and we than proceeded to order. I had the BBQ burger. Ordered med rare. Well done dry.. My friend was pleased with her meal. I was still picking at mine when our waitress asks my friend if she was done and needed a box... She than takes her plate and says she will be right back with the bill..I am still eating.. She brings the bill...I am still eating.. Jazmyn totally ignores me. I like Momma's but will probably not go to...
