Zig’s Lakeside Pub and Grill — Restaurant in Town of Westford

Went there for first time yesterday alone or Father’s Day - kids visiting their mom in Florida on summer break. I’m not often shocked but I was amazed. Crowd lively but measured and fun. Atmosphere, relaxed and exactly what people are coming for, to chill relax and enjoy some good food and drinks. Food, outstanding for sure. Heard about naked wings - ordered them and they were sold out. So owner Cass ( amazing by the way ) recommended the Cuban Sandwich with Tater Tots. Can’t describe how good - still thinking about the shredded pork chunks, the flavor, burnt edges, the crunchy bread, pickles, sauce / incredible every bite ! I will be back - heard the Rueben’s, AYCE Ribs, Quesadillas, Fish Fry, Burgers, Pizza, Breakfasts, etc… so much yet to try. Met owners mom - very proud of her daughter - what a wonderful family restaurant bar with high quality home...

First time visiting here on a Saturday afternoon. 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Waited over 20 minutes just to put a food order in, while people who came in after us had their order taken first. Waited about 45 minutes for the food, which we got the kids’ food but not ours. Another 15 minutes later we finally got the rest of our food. I did appreciate there were puzzles and coloring books for the kids. But we will not be back. Only explanation was they were “slammed”, no genuine apologizes given. A heads up that the food order would be slow would have been appreciated, and more communication throughout. Our kids’ food was brought and I had to ask about the rest since there was no explanation. Food was decent but definitely not worth that sort of wait. They also charge extra for small amounts of lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo on a burger. Very disappointed in the...

Went there to meet a friend for lunch, I had Jalapeño poppers he had a burger, we sat on the deck that had an absolutely beautiful view of the lake, locals dining, locals coming off lake, camping area, Owner came out greeted everyone. Hostesses with great personalities and comedy to go along with service. Everything was great out side of the flies but I’m sure it was because of the storm rolling in. Hey!
