DIRTY DAVES — Restaurant in Town of Wheatland

We walked into Dirty Dave's not knowing what to expect, we got our menus and the first thing g that struck me were the prices, so far good start. We ordered our drinks then our food, I ordered the New York strip, with fries and mac salad. My wife ordered the fish fry, my nephew got the Buffalo chicken wrap with onion rings. I'll start with the steak. The flavor was out of this world, savory delicious, the steak was so tender I didn't need a knife to cut it. I'd call it perfect, found no fault there, the Mac salad was some of the best I've ever had, the fries also perfect. Crispy outside, tender and fluffy inside. My nephew loved his onion rings and wrap, and my wife's fish fry was so big she had to take some with her. All in all, we had just about the perfect experience at Dirty Daves. Had to wait a while at the bar to get waited on and order dinner. A little over an hour later, our mildly warm fish dinners came out. The fries were some what warm, the fish was cool to the touch. The bartender got to the point where she set other orders on the bar instead of serving them to the tables. Another couple joined us. Dirty Dave's is much nicer than the name might imply.The bar tender gal was very friendly and attentive.I don't believe Dave was there when we visited since everyone appeared properly bathed and there was know one spewing profanity.The establishment is very nice inside,clean nice rest rooms too.Not sure,maybe Dave is a gardener or has tourette's syndrome not sure how the name came about.In any case it's a nice little bar...
