The BBQ was amazing. I had the pulled chicken sandwich and it was juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of sauce. The coleslaw was pretty good. The cornbread was pretty much the same as most BBQ places. My husband had ribs, pork and brisket with fried okra and raved about it all. Good BBQ, good price. This place is absolutely no frills. It's a small little shack, cement floors and it fills up fast. It wouldn't hurt for the owners to run a swiffer under the chairs. There were some serious cobwebs. Go mid-afternoon if you want to avoid the rush.

The ribs here are awsome you must try them. We also loved the pulled chicken. The sides were great also I'd highly recommend this place for some great bbq and you can sit outside also. Its a family owned business and black owned also. Sime of the best places outsode of Rochester to grab a big plate of bbq.

I haven’t been here in a while, it could be a while before I do again too. The counter girl was really nice, I love the decor … and the license plates from every state alphabetically around the room is a cool touch! But the food still has a ways to go. The ribs were tough, it was almost like work trying to chew them down, I’ve never had tough ribs like this before! They didn’t taste bad, not great but certainly not bad, pretty nice smokey flavor, they were just tough to eat. The Cajun corn has improved a bit, could still use more butter and spice but not bad. The bbq beans really let me down though, I’m pretty sure they came out of a can, I couldn’t even finish them. They ain’t any Grandma Browns, that’s for sure! Oh, the corn bread … no to that too. I hate to say all this, I’d really like to see them do well, but they still have a ways to go. On another note, it was all well enough under $20 so their prices were fair enough. They at least have to do something about...

I was so excited to see someone mention on fb awhile back that Bad to the Bone is doing dinner again on Friday and Saturday nights. We have fewer and fewer choices out here all the time and I was getting as tired of those remaining as I am of cooking by Friday night. I just finished the brisket dinner with cole slaw and potato salad and all were excellent with good sized portions. The brisket was moist not dried out like it is many places. My husband had the pulled pork platter and it was great as well. Even the corn muffins were good. I am really picky about my food not being dry and Bad to the Bone did not disappoint. Can't wait for next weekend to have ribs. They even called me back to double check on something to be sure my order was correct, and my order was ready exactly when they said it would be. So glad they are back, hope they are here to...

Some one from my office told me about this place said it was southern style and the turnip greens were to die for. So not. The sauce taste just like sweet baby ray's the greens had no flavor at all except some smoked pork and sugar. The mac salad was bland as well as the cole slaw. Do yourself a favor grab a tub of Lloyds from the super market and some fries from Wendy's you will be much happier. So just wasted my time and def. not worth the 45 min drive to get there. I will be checking the person that recommended it and let her know the greens...
