Also my wife and I were the first ones in the diner for breakfast and were intentionally served our coffee last after many other tables. When we pointed that out after 20 minutes of no coffee the server said “yeah I know”. I definitely feel as though because we were out of state, gay, and had tattoos that we weren’t being paid attention to. Even when we asked for a second round of coffee we were completely forgotten about again until we were finished our food and asked a second time. The homemade whole wheat bread tasted liquidy doughy, like it hadn't been cooked all the way through, and then moldy a few bites later. The home fries were dry and overdone and the Denver omelet had green peppers that weren't cooked thoroughly and worse, liquidy egg stuff that might have been melted cheese but also might have been uncooked eggs. However the owner/cook was very welcoming and friendly and his daughter - the waitress that day - was very lovely and attentive. I didn't complain to them about the food. We all left full and satisfied. Our server was a great conversationalist, and was very pleasant. Will definitely be going there again if I'm in the area! It was not some chain run of the mill food.
