I was a guest here. Someone recommended to stop by and have a drink. I did so . Julia was the bartender, I simply said here is my card keep an open tap . On my third drink I was told that I told her to close the tab which I never did , I came in had a drink by the time she came back to me for payment I told her here is the card keep it open and I'll take another one , she instead closed it . Well trying to come to an understanding with her is like trying to see eye with an officer which is im not arguing with you. I was not arguing I simply wanted to tell her she miss understood me well she was not having that. Ohh well this person has mental issues and high strong on whatever ego she has . I'm visiting from out of town, and after I took a scenic train ride I was looking for some food... away from small children. The Google highly recommended this tavern and it did not disappoint! Sara, the bartender was so sweet (she giggles like a school girl when you make her laugh 😆) and helped me concoct a spin on the boring mule. Ask her to make you one with sour apple vodka, so good! I even got an apple slice! I ordered the pizza with pepperoni and asked for extra crispy and it was perfect, and very delicious. The regular patrons were super friendly, I chatted with everyone (I'm traveling by myself). I loooved the place so much I bought a tee shirt, it's going to PA! My son and I have Celiac disease and it's hard to find delicious gluten free good. We heard about this place through my husband's coworker and gave it a shot and it was amazing. When your gluten free you tend to crave "bar foods", onion ring, pizza , mozzarella sticks..all the things most restaurants don't offer gluten free. This place does.
