Let me start this post by saying, even though they forgot my husband's bacon in the kitchen, breakfast was fine and the waitress was kind and attentive. I have no qualms with her or the actual food. My complaint is about the 2 cooks that were there on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 6:00 am. They were having a conversation in the pass thru about grub hub and door dash. I only caught a part of the conversation but what I heard was disheartening to me. One had said "I order food on grub hub or door dash then I go on the ratings and give them the worst ratings I can. Get those people out of the mix." The other cook said "Ya that's a good idea, I should do the same." Like I said, hearing this was very disheartening to me as I am a Door Dash driver/delivery person. I am fortunate to still have a full time job with this pandemic going on, but needed to supplement the overtime income I was accustom to before the pandemic. I chose to do this with the Door dash delivery, I am diligent to make sure my customers get the right food and all of the food and in a timely manner and even take the time to let them know if something is taking longer than expected for whatever reason and have received great ratings for this. It hurts me to think that there are people out there deliberately putting someone else's income in jeopardy out of spite. When did we become so awful...
Read moreTo say this was the worst breakfast I've ever had would be the nicest thing I could say. Tired and all but literally starving I came in and decided to treat myself to a steak and eggs breakfast. It would have been the grace of God had I dropped dead of a heart attack before I had an opportunity to make my first attempt at cutting the 8ounce leather shoe that was the steak, of my steak and eggs breakfast... I man'd up and ate it and as always I didn't say a word. The waitress was nice and has nothing to do with the atrocity that I was served. Steak and eggs coffee and orange juice ran 28 and change and I always try to tip generously, so a 10 on top of that. All said and done I paid 40 bucks for a mild stomach ache. This was the worst breakfast I've ever had in my 37 years walking earth. I have been in every state in the continental united States, as far south as the Caribbean, and as far east as the frozen Ural mountains in Russia. I've eaten breakfast at one time or another in all those places. It took literally traveling the world and 40 years to find the worst breakfast. This was my everest. The place is clean. The waitresses are nice. Unfortunately those things are not enough to make garbage ...
Read moreTruck Parking issue: apparently the owner has blocked off half the rear parking area for Private Use, which means he RENTED it out (greedy to say the least: he raised prices in restaurant 3 times since Sept 2021, increased amount of fuel needed for a FREE shower and you now drivers only have 3 days to get your FREE shower). IF he's EVER been in his parking lot on a Tuesday after 8 p.m. or another night, he would see just how FULL the lot is (I bet he is NEVER there past 5 pm). So where will truck drivers like myself PARK to do our 10 hr break? Sometimes I have less than 15 minutes of drive time left and Scottys is/was the perfect spot. Traffic also affects our time, which the owner cannot fix, BUT he could fix this. I KNOW THE PRICE OF SUPPLIES AND FOOD HAS GONE UP, I get that... but don't run your customers off. It comes down to profit, Smh! Where will the oversized loads park? Loss of parking spots will mean loss of spending inside his store and restaurant. I seldom eat at the restaurant anymore because $16 for an omlette breakfast, with water and $3 tip is too high... I've seen a table of six leave a $5 tip or NO tip so the wait staff suffer on food...
