McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Windsor

Nasty. Disappointing Experience with Food and Service at McDonald's I'm extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience with McDonald's. I ordered food through DoorDash and was shocked to find pieces of metal in my burger. This is unacceptable and a serious food safety concern. To make matters worse, when I tried to get a refund, I was denied. This lack of accountability and customer care is alarming. Unfortunately, my previous visits to this McDonald's location have also been marred by poor service. Some of the workers have been rude and unprofessional calling names and more, and orders are frequently incorrect. Even simple requests, like getting the right size cup, seem to be too much to ask. On one occasion, I was handed a leaking cup and told that they couldn't provide a replacement. The only redeeming quality of this McDonald's location is the physical building itself, which is nicely designed and maintained. However, a nice building is not enough to compensate for the serious issues with food safety and customer service. (The kitchen) Looking from the front counter the kitchen floor looked very clean compared to a lot of other fast food places I have been too. The machines that are visable looked clean as well. The crew in the back wore gloves, and handsanatizer was visible and accessable to all staff members behind the counter, there is also one place right outside the bathrooms for customers use. (The lobby) looked very clean and was fully stocked. The 1980's dinner theme I found very neat amd my daughter loved the records placed on the wall, and the jukebox. (The food) I order a big mac medium meal. I recieved my food in under 5 minutes. It was hot and tasted fresh as expected. The fries were cooked perfect. I recieved them hot, perfect texture (not soggy nor overly crunchy), and they tasted fresh. (The staff) i found the staff very understanding and nice. I was greeted with a smile, they answered all my questions completely, thanked me for my service, and gave me a very nice fair well. (Conclusion) This is one of the best fast food restaurants I have ever been too and I would recommend...

In town visiting family and decided to place a rather big order on the app and had my sister go pick it up instead of marching a family of 8 to the restaurant. Also, social distancing and all. And the whole time she was there, the staff was incredibly rude to her for putting in a huge order. The woman working the window starting getting loud over the large order and loudly told the car behind her that there'd be a wait bc someone just had to do a big order. They pulled her to a wait spot, which is fine, but then it looks like they half cooked the hash browns, can't even get them out of their sleeve. Ordering thru the app is supposed to be more convenient for both the restaurant and the customer. Especially now during the pandemic. The staff seems to need some coaching on proper customer service.
