Dix's Chalet — Restaurant in Town of Winter

Where do I begin - the owners are amazing had my husband’s 60th birthday here . I was able to drop off the cake early which was perfect. We had to change our reservation it was not an issue. And of course we arrived 10 min late . And our other party members were running behind as well . Our appetizers where great we had the scallop bruschetta!! A definite must try - and those scallops gave Florida serious competition! And I’m a native ! Raised on seafood . We had a younger one and got the cheese curds they came out hot and fresh and very good !

Our dinners The birthday man had the ribeye and the char was perfect ! It was cooked perfect . I had the stuffed shrimp and wow ! We had one have the ribs and one had the seafood pasta ravioli! We were a very quiet birthday dinner table ! Cause we all couldn’t stop eating long enough to talk ! The service was excellent we wanted for nothing . Our drinks were great as well we each had one ! The cake service was great ! If any establishment deserves 10 stars it is this one . A come as you are , 5 star quality food right off the ATV /UTV trails . We had reservations, owner frowned as we stated we had reservations at 6:00. First words out of our waitress was "Its going to be awhile before we can get to you" I figure if you spend 100.00 bill atleast be cordial. My half Duck was fatty my husbands meal was just ok.
