Fish fry was excellent. A little pricey for the portion, but I would have considered still going back except for the rude bartender who ignored us, and then took our plates and handed us our bill without even asking if we wanted anything else. That's one way to tell a guest they are not welcome. If it weren't for a different bartender who finally came to check in and take our order after sitting at the bar for 15 minutes, we would have just walked out without even getting food. Saw the update to the restaurant on Facebook over the winter. Was looking forward to having the bluegill sandwich, their signature dish, but they ran out week's earlier during the holiday.

I had to "upgrade" my choice to the salmon sandwich that was paired with bacon. Bacon and fish seldom make a good pairing, this was no exception.

This is such a great place! I don't know how it was prior to remodel. My husband and I are new to the area this past spring, and we were so thankful for such a wonder lady bartender. She provided us local information and was so kind and friendly. The owner is a hardworking guy with a well established place. The French fries and homemade pizza was phenomenal. We took it to go, but ate every last bite before getting back to our place.
