O.M.G. I happened upon this little gem this morning. Actually, I heard about it while at the hairdresser and the ladies were drinking something called a Turtle Frappe from here. I did not partake in that this morning, but I did get a large iced vanilla chai. Oh how I wish it came in a ginormous cup size!! The flavor was AMAZING!!! I have found my new 'go to' coffee shop! I also met Kate, the owner and her very lovely mom. We had a great conversation, I learned about the history of the building and ordered a breakfast sandwich to boot! Let me tell you, I tried something I never would have thought would be so delicious!! Egg, bacon and cream cheese on a fresh baked bagel that comes from Oswego. Yes, I said cream cheese on my breakfast sandwich. Who would have thunk it?!?! Don't knock it till you try it is all I can say. It was cooked to perfection and delicious! My eyes were bigger than my stomach this morning, but I also picked up a fresh baked molasses cookie. I had to try a bite to complete my review, and I am so glad I did. Full of molasses flavor! It definitely did not disappoint. I may have to go back for lunch š If you're in the area you must stop in! Heck, if you aren't in the area you must make the trip and check it out!! I love to support local businesses, and so glad I did!! Best of luck to this gem...

We were both decked out on rainbows and a little nervous - we were in a rural town and didn't know the area. We walked into the Opera House Cafe and were immediately greeted with smiles and compliments on our outfits- we felt right at home.
Our server/barista was fun, kind, and on-the-ball. I've never had fun giving someone my coffee order before! The coffee was great, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. As I ate my meal I could tell that the Opera House has a lot of regulars- and the staff know their names and orders! If I'm ever in Red Creek again, I know I'll be...
Read moreWe were traveling through the area this week and when we looked up local breakfast places Opera House popped up. One of the best finds! I loved the cranberry bagel with cream cheese, like I have been wanting more ever since stopping and wondering how insane it would be to drive 2 hrs just to get more. The latte was also really really good and I loved learning more about coffee and how its made while it was being whipped up. My friend was thrilled with her jalapeño bagel sandwich and said it was the perfect amount of jalapeños (shes very judgy when it comes to using jalapeño in anything). The owner was warm, welcoming, and so funny. I would highly...
