EXCELLENT UNIQUE PLACE Really wonderful roadside restaurants, super old school and charming. Specializing in a local delicacy called beef on weck which according to a close family member has the perfect combination of roast beef on a bun featuring caraway seeds salt and horseradish. This combination is wonderful unique, and a time-honored long-standing specialty of one family that has made a special spot here. They have an elaborate interesting breakfast menu and we also purchased the hamburger there which was excellent. We got the Swiss and mushroom cheeseburger, and the person mentioned that the beef came fresh from right down the road and the whole thing is very rare unique and special. The service was grea, the atmosphere is unique and it was obvious to everyone there of various types, groups of people and people of all ages loved the food and the atmosphere. Also, my guest purchased the onion rings which she loved, and she loves onion rings. This is a very special spot and if you get a chance it's a local Buffalo area specialty beef on weck which you will not be finding elsewhere. The bun of beef on weck is kimmelweck. The food was very good, tasty.. we ordered two spinach chicken finger wraps one with chips and one with fries. (Very large size and filled well) we also got the double bacon cheeseburger and fries with a side of cottage cheese ,then a bacon cheeseburger with sweet potatoe fries. Everyone was satisfied with their meals and portion size. The waitress was forgetful and not on top of being assertive. Didn't ask if we needed drink refills, let the cups sit empty. We had to ask for a to go container while we were asking for our bill. I'm not sure if ill be back or not. However the food is good. It was 52 and some change for two adults...
