Biggby Coffee — Restaurant in Traverse City

This is my second time having biggby. The first was good but at a different location. I told the employee last time I hade peppermint mocha. She suggested the butterscotch bear saying it's her favorite. I said ok I will give it a try. 40 minutes later after the 4 individuals whom ordered behind me got their order and left, I was asked if I was waiting for something by the same young lady that took my order. I said yea the butterscotch latte you suggested. She points to a medium sized cup and says it's right there. I said I ordered a 24 Oz. She says to me the other worker must have gotten it confused. I thought yea if she had made it maybe. 🤔 so I say that's ok refund me the 24 Oz and I will purchase the smaller size. She said oh she's already started the 24 Oz and took off with it. I was in there almost an hour to pay 8 bucks for a plain coffee with cream. I taste no butterscotch nor Carmel. I do believe she made the smaller size intentionally because after all that is her favorite one. I will not be back. Absolutely LOVE biggby coffee. I go daily and usually a couple of times lol..The owner is very nice and I see her around there often; even with an apron on working! There are so many sweet and kind girls working here. I do have one complaint that I am HOPING the owner does something about. Its when you hire a new person. I wish you would train them more and I really don't like spending $10 on a drink for a new hire to "practice" on. I don't want to sound rude but there are MANY times I have had to just toss my drink. I completely understand that you have to hire more workers and everything but I also know im not the only regular customer that avoids the store when you hire new people. We are frequent customers. To the point of visiting this establishment multiple times a week. I gotta say today was the worst experience yet. Ordered multiple drinks and went to pay with a $50 bill. Was told they couldn't take it because they didn't have the marker to make sure the bill was real. I said you're kidding right. The young lady said if you don't like it take it up with the owner.. very disappointed in this. You need to do better. Post a sign saying you don't take large bills.
