The Cedar Hollow Inn is my absolute favorite restaurant. The menu is fantastic, the bar is lively and fun, and the service is impeccable.
The menu features some incredibly delicious options, like their crab pretzel. This dish consists of a hot pretzel topped with crab, delivering an unbelievable flavor. To top it all off, there’s a spicy honey mustard sauce drizzled over the warm crab on the soft pretzel. This combination makes it the perfect dish for relaxing nights or any atmosphere you desire.
The first time I walked in, a friendly lady welcomed me and seated me with a smile. I ordered quickly, and my food arrived in less than ten minutes. She was kind and informed me of everything I needed to know. My grandma is a bit picky, so she had some specific requests and asked to hold several items. The waitress was patient, and nobody I’ve seen has ever gotten their food or drinks wrong.
I visited Cedar Hollow Inn during a Phillies game, and the entire restaurant was cheering for the Phillies, creating a fantastic atmosphere. They were cheering and shouting left and right, booing whenever a player we didn’t like came up to bat or dropped a ball. This was extremely funny.
The Cedar Hollow Inn is a wonderful place to hang out with friends or family, enjoy great food, and have a good time. I would choose this place over any other because of their friendly waitstaff, fun crowd, pleasant atmosphere, and, best of all, their...
Read moreIf you are interested in paying premium price for reheated food then this is the place for you. We visited Cedar Hollow Inn after work on Friday November 20th. My first impression was that it was clean. We were seated promptly and then it was downhill from there. We ordered fried calamari as the appetizer to begin our meal. It was served cold, and appeared to have been reheated instead of freshly prepared. When my dinner arrived it was also cold. I ordered a shrimp & scallop with asparagus and noodles.I ate a Shrimp and a scallop which were barely warm. I tried the noodles which were completely cold. I reported this to the waitress, who apologized. She gave me the option to have the food reheated or order something else from the menu. I opted to order another entree. The waitress returned to tell me the Chef said "since I ate 3 shrimp from my entree he would be losing money so he was not going to prepared another entree!!!. I have never been so insulted in a restaurant before. I would hate to think that race was a factor in the chef's disregard for customer service. My boyfriend immediately asked for the bill. We will never be returning to...
Read moreI hate to give a poor review - but the meal we experienced at the Cedar Hollow Inn last night has to be shared. We live locally and wanted to enjoy an evening out. We ate at the bar and ordered: blackened steak and I ordered the trout (swapped out for salmon), green beans and polenta. The steak was so tough - really inedible. My salmon was OK, but the string beans were the "toughest" I've ever encountered - like fragments of wood pulp - impossible to eat. I held out hope for the polenta but when I found the 2 slices under the salmon - all hope was lost - the size of a soda can & round - the shelf-bought polenta was the last sad straw. We don't eat out often. I needed a break from cooking - and I guess I got that. But we work hard for our money - like we all do - like the staff at the Cedar Hollow Inn does - but we came home feeling like we should have just thrown our money out the window. If the dedicated staff of the restaurant show up and work hard - then whomever does the food buying should really check the quality of the food that their dedicated staff is serving to their customers who work hard so they can treat themselves to...
