I called for carry-out and the young lady answering the phone and taking my order was simply superb. She was extremely professional, courteous, friendly and just plain sweet. I placed my order for a full slab of baby back ribs, a la carte, with extra barbecue sauce. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a young man and the same young lady. They were OUTSTANDING! My order wasn't quite ready so I waited in a seat until it was...I arrived pretty early so it's definitely not their fault that it wasn't ready. A few minutes later another young lady brought out my order, confirmed it was mine, and I left with a really great feeling about the treatment I received and the crew that was working. Unfortunately, that's where the good feeling ended. I drove all the way home to enjoy my baby back ribs (and my first time getting food from Blazin Bills) and discovered that I didn't have any extra barbecue sauce on my ribs as I'd ordered. But, ribs iz ribs so I was still happy to tear into them. That's when I discovered that the entire slab was EXTREMELY tough, and you really had to TEAR them apart from the bones. Normally, even when I make them myself, they simply refuse to stay on the bones and practically melt in your mouth. Not these. Once you tore a bone off the meat was extremely tough, like it had been WAY overcooked but not in something that would break down the connection to the bones. Just plain TOUGH. I'll admit, they were very tasty, but definitely NOT worth what I paid for them. Then, on THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS I found little hairs at the end of three of the rib bones when I tore them apart. They can't be mine, I have a military type "high & tight" haircut with none of my hair being more than ¼ inch in length and each of the three hairs ranged from ½ to ¾ of an inch long. I simply put them aside and didn't raise a huge stink about it because they were at the very ends of the rib bones, and that wasn't going in my mouth, anyway. All in all I'd have to say this was a GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT for my first time eating here. While the staff and service were SUPREMELY FANTASTIC, the baby back ribs left A LOT to be desired and were absolutely not worth what I paid for them. VERY SADLY...
Read moreI hate to write this, I had such great expectations. My dogs, my friends, and my self bounce around the state for dog events and make a point of checking bring fido to find good, dog friendly restaurants. On this particular day, we found Bill's. Though it was 20 minutes north of the event site (10 minutes farther than we prefer to travel post event) the restaurant seemed awesome from the Internet, great menu, great seating, and great reviews. We pulled in, I sent a friend inside to request patio seats. My friend returned and said they weren't seating outside, said it was too cold. It was 70° and we had just been on outside running our dogs for 4 hours. With a deep breath, and some great expectations of food, I decided to proceed with ordering and just eat in the parking lot, we had 2 kids who were starving. My friend grabbed a menu and we all proceeded to write down our order (including 3 brisket meals specifically for the dogs who had to been actively participating in dog sports all day, 1 first timer) the kids ordered burgers. Friend goes inside to order, they don't have BURGERS after 4. Ok get them chicken tenders (they Are 12 and 13) apparently they only had kids chicken tenders which is a whopping 2 tenders. Next, they don't have lids for Togo cups, ok, use skill and dont spill? Still trying to make the best. While waiting for 45 minutes we met several incredibly nice patrons who all came to love on our dogs. One guy and his son asked why we weren't on the back patio, we explained, he looked confused and said huh, id have just went and sat down in the beginning. Once we got our food, I had to send the kids back inside for silverware. Then to try to get sour cream for potato skins which they apparently don't have? Though on the menu (The sour cream). So after feeding everyone from the hood of the car or backseat we load up. Make a wrong turn and find a shlew of... Picnic tables. Y'all seriously saw us outside eating on the hood of our car and didn't think to offer the damn picnic tables??? We will be in Hiram a dozen or more times next summer, feeding dogs and family every time. That's at least a grand you could have gotten from me. Do better for the...
Read moreMy fiance and I have stopped her a few times on our way home from brown's games. They was hardly anyone there when we went and had very poor service. We were seated right away everytime we went but the same things always happen. You end up sitting and waiting forever for anyone to acknowledge you (in a very empty room) everytime we placed our drink order mind you its only 2 of us, we would wait forever for our drinks. Oddly enough we discussed placing our food order right when she came back with our drinks because of how long it took for them to come back everytime. She dropped our drinks off and left before anyone could get a word in and came back 15 minutes later to take our order. Once that was placed as per usual our server disappeared and never came back till someone else brought us out our food well over an hour later. They must have had to run next door for the cheese for my burger because it was nearly 2 hours. We keep an open mind and understand people have off days but this is everytime we've been there. I joked about walking up to the bar to refill my water since we hadn't seen our server in forever. As I was getting ready to get up she came by and didnt even ask if we needed anything she grabbed my drink said "sorry" and walked away. Then she never came back with my drink. The both of us finished our food before she came back with my water and didn't give me a straw. After not hearing me the first time I had to raise my voice to get her attention for a straw. I'm never one to post reviews on any business but these exact situations happen everytime we go. For a place that already has an expensive menu then has "MENU DOES NOT INCLUDE 15% PRICE INCREASE" Stapled to it should have better service. My fiance had a pop and pulled pork (that was cold) and I had a water and a cheeseburger yet our bill was over $50!!! Absolutely unacceptable. I could go on and on about our other experiences but this was surprisingly the best outing we had and I don't mean to berate the restaurant but we have been nothing but let down and forgotten about on...
