Excellent flavor and attention to detail. Food options were plenty but not overwhelming. Several vegetarian choices and a variety of dishes to accommodate all types of appetites. Allergens clearly laid out on the menu, similar to European standards. Service is very attentive and friendly. A huge bonus is the air conditioning. Completely changes the comfort level from what it was before. It’s clear Chef Carlos & Chef Amparo and family have put a lot of thought into this fresh, new, family run restaurant. His passion is evidently demonstrated in his well seasoned, flavorful, exciting dishes. Can’t wait to go back for more!

A great new spot! The food is melt in your mouth, flavor bomb, home-style cooking! But gorgeously presented. The atmosphere was nice, rustic-cabin feel, but sparkling clean, great staff. Busy on a Saturday night, glad we made a reservation for 8 of us. Recommend the beef medallions, the duck, and the cod dishes. The peach blueberry crumble was also to die for.

We three enjoyed a terrific meal at Millan’s tonight. Swordfish chop, scallops and cod were our mains and they were fresh, ample and delicious. Accompaniments to all dishes were creative and tasty. From the young lady who sat us, to the waitress and the young man bussing tables, the service was great. A bit noisy but a Lovely evening !

Missed this gem last year as it opened a year ago where Terra Luna used to be. Inside has been updated completely, comfortable and not over crowded with tables. It was our servers first night and he was very nervous but very capable, we are sure the newness will wear off. He checked a couple of times without being overbearing and we were pleased with his service.

Food, the highlight, after 10 days on the Cape and in southern coastal Maine, we thought we had experienced terrific restaurants. Millan's turned out to be our favorite. We started out with the Grilled Peaches, Burrata and Prosciutto appetizer, it was wonderful. We also had the wedge salad which was also expertly prepared, usually a wedge of iceberg is on a plate with some bacon crumbles and dressing, the lettuce leaves were individually cut and arranged and the bacon and dressing topped the 4 individual servings on the plate, both delicious and easy to eat. My wife ordered the Cod on the everyday menu which she loved and I had the Tuna Steak special which was cooked rare and was very fresh, nothing like fresh fish prepared well. Bar drinks were brought to the table and at least a glass of wine was in a 6 oz. carafe, better than the 4 oz. pour at most bars.

We were sorry we didn't go until our final night as we were staying in No. Truro from Sunday until Friday, Millans is closed Monday and Tuesdays (maybe only in the offseason). Will be sure to twice on our next trip to CC, probably September or October.

Highly recommend for those that enjoy well prepared fresh food by a talented chef and well managed restaurant. If we had any issue at all it was the appetizer menu was lacking in choices, won't matter because next time we are getting 2 orders of the grilled peaches, burrata and prosciutto, my mouth waters just remembering the ding experience.

Thank you for...

I popped in for an appetizer and a blood orange mocktail made by this incredibly handsome, hilarious, bartender. There were only about six seats at the bar, so I was thrilled to find I had the whole thing to myself. They were just opening so the tables were slowly being taken as the servers reviewed the nightly specials and cocktail lists. Had a lovely conversation with nearly the entire staff as it’s an intimate experience even when full, but especially when they’re just opening. The Tuna poke was AMAZING! Among the best I’ve ever had. This was my second visit. The first time I went for full on dinner. The special that night was a bone in Ribeye with a jalapeño bacon butter and demi-glazed. Grilled baby acorn squash, and garlic mashed potatoes. Topped it off with a mocha cream brûlée. Also AMAZING. The dining area is pretty formal. Most of the people who had 5 o’clock reservations looked dressed up. At the same time, I didn’t feel out of place sitting at the bar in my t shirt and flip flops. I personally don’t drink and the bartender (who was hilarious in four languages) was quick to make me a custom “Mocktail” which was delicious. Full menu available at the bar as well. Overall two outstanding experiences that deserved recognition for...

Arrived on time but only one table was left in the middle of the room, next to the kitchen entrance. There was another by the window but “Someone requested that one.” Waitress was harried and scattered. Hostess was not friendly. We ordered light because neither of us were hugely hungry. The garlic knots were tasty but doughy. The tuna poke was ok. Caesar salad was ok. Chowder was good. My husband requested pepper but it never came although the waitress made a point of doing it at other tables. When I pointed this out to the waitress she apologized and said she “forgot.” The old fashioned my husband ordered had very little whiskey in it. The side of vegetables I ordered was supposed to be asparagus based, but it wound up being a very greasy mound of mostly onions and peppers with a few small chunks of cauliflower and broccoli. No asparagus and little anything else. When I pointed out that asparagus was featured on the menu, the waitress said: “I guess we didn’t have any.” No offer to make it right. For this we spent almost a hundred bucks. Not going back. We were quite disappointed. Used to go to Terre Luna and were hoping this would be relative. It was not. Possibly a bad night or whatever. Kinda surprised other reviews...
