This place needs negative stars. Went through the drive through and when I opened my burrito to put salsa on it, there was mold on the tortilla. We went back into the restaurant within 10 minutes of our purchase and showed them and requested a refund because we didn't feel safe eating any of the food. Kevin, who didn't give us a receipt when he handed us our food, also refused to give us a full refund without a receipt. He smirked at my husband as he refused to find our receipt and refused to give us the corporate number.
We called the next day and spoke to the manager on duty, Ryan, who told us to come to the store for a refund. We went back to the store and he told us that actually he couldn't issue the refund but the store manager could do it the next day. The next day we went back to the store for a refund and were told by that manager, Brandon, that he had spoken to the regional (or district) manager Susie and she instructed him that he was NOT to issue us a refund. She was satisfied that we had the single taco refunded. Our call to Susie has gone unanswered.
They seriously expected us to be comfortable eating the rest of the food when they had such poor quality control. I'm allergic to mold. Did they expect us to open up and inspect every single item of food? Did they expect us to trust that somehow the rest of the tortillas didn't have mold? This place is a health hazard and I've never seen such awful customer service. Lost customers over 25 dollars of...
Read morePay no mind to those who give bad reviews since most are impatient and hardly understand this is a new place that almost everyone working there is still learning the menu and everything else. It may take a little time to have things in perfect order to please to gripers and grumblers in the area, but I know this location is well on its way to finding its groove. The food is good, even though at times they may get an order incorrect, but that's usual when you do fast food where people are rushing in and they are trying to keep up with everyone. The employees are nice to my family and I whenever we go in, and all I see is the experience getting only better. Not sure what that other griper was are talking about in review that it "tastes like a pipe" when what it really is they probably had a few pipes too many in their day that they need to lay off of. My family as a whole loves this place, and we are overjoyed this location really brings in a new flavor of fresh for a change. The menu is actually better than Taco Bell with their selection too that I'm sure they're not gonna pull from menu at...
Read moreAfter moving to Texas from California was excited to find what turns out to be the closet Del Taco to me, in Truth Or Consequences of all places, but was pretty disappointed in the quality. SoCal DT was always on point, and that would make sense being that there's tons of them out there, but this one was way off. Sevice was great but their chicken tacos were super burnt, dry, kind of wet kibble consistecy wise and one could assume the chicken was possibly a day old (it was a little after 2 pm so if it was old means it might have been sitting a good while) which left me super disappointed to get my favorite menu item like that. Perhaps being that this particular location was the rarity in a somewhat isolated region was the contributing factor?
Giving 3 starts as the drive thru employee was super nice but food was really a 2.
Hope that isn't the usual at that location as there may be other times when I have to pass by and would like to be able to give it...
