Dub's Tavern — Restaurant in Tualatin

Did a Google search for "dog friendly restaurants near me", this place came highly recommended. Went there with my friend and my dog. Upon getting there, we went straight to the patio area in the back. No one greeted us, no one acknowledged that we were even there. Went inside to ask for service, informed the staff that we were on the patio and would like to place an order. I Informed the staff that I had also brought my dog. Was asked to immediately leave the premises and was told that it is illegal to bring a dog to an eating establishment. DOG OWNERS AND DOG LOVERS BEWARE!! Do not go here! It is illegal and not welcome. We went to one of the dozen other surrounding establishments that do welcome dogs. Recommend other dog owners to do the same...do not go here. Do not recommend this business. Dub's staff, you are welcome for this free PSA.

UPDATE 8/10/2023 - Additional information now that the owner has replied, I wasn't asked if my dog is a service animal or not. I am aware of cameras with audio, so this can be fact checked. Another fact, my Manager went there very recently with his son for the prime rib dinner. He was informed that minors are not allowed and was asked to leave. He has not gone back, and also doesn't recommend this business. ...

Went to the men's room, washed my hands but found the towel dispenser empty. Looks like it had been empty for some time because the towel rack end was soaking wet. Everybody was trying to dry their hands with the small section of cloth that remains. Gross! The air hand dryer that I went to as a second option was broken. No way to dry my hands. Sooooo I let the bartender know the problem in the men's restroom had no way to dry our hands. Forty five minutes later I went back to the men's room again and found nothing had changed. Still no way to dry my hands. I never mentioned the fact that the men's room reeked of urine. I figured they would smell it when they changed the towel rack, but since they never change the towel rack 45 minutes later no cleaning ever took place. I hope the owner will read this and take note. Wow what an AWESOME spot!!!

We stopped here cuz we ended up in the area and we were incredibly happy. The food is amazing. Cesar salad is well dressed and flavorful. The pizza was good too. They don’t skimp on cheese and the ranch dressing to dip it in is great. The mozzarella sticks stole the show though! Great beer selection as well.

The service was great, and multiple servers checked on us. Very friendly and polite.

The bar is also incredibly well decorated. So many fun vintage unique items everywhere. This is a “dive”, I guess but almost purposefully? Just way unique and fun.
