Browns Donut Shop — Restaurant in Tulsa

I used to love this place and would have an amazing experience when I would bring my children when they were younger. They’re all in their 30s now. I had a little extra time before my doctor appointment this morning so I decided to stop. I was so disappointed. They’re rude to customers. A young man wasted his drink and they seemed agitated because of it. He bought about 3-4 boxes of donuts. Why would you treat your paying customers like that? The lady in purple seemed very unfriendly. No smile. No greeting. Just annoyed to be at work. The lady running the register inside with the tacky see thru white tshirt on was more concerned with the customers at the drive thru. Mind you there was another lady whom I felt sorry for running the drive thru. She looked a bit new but the one in white kept worrying about the window instead of us customers in the inside. The unfriendly lady in purple had to tell the lady in white she’d help at the window so she could wait on the customers accumulating in the inside. Not sure what’s happened to the service over the years. But at one point you could go in and they were so friendly and treated everyone like family and with respect. They’d hold actual conversations to where you just didn’t want to leave. They genuinely cared about the customer! It’s sad to see such an iconic part of Tulsa go...

Really great little donut shop! They have the usual donut selections and they are very good. The unique flavor at this shop of their sausage rolls. They use the unsweetened donut dough to make a small case around a smoked sausage. They have them with and without cheese, but the cheese sausage rolls have cheese actually added inside and no just cheese by use of a cheese smoked sausage. Prices are excellent, staff is friendly, and service is quick. They even have a drive up window so you don’t have to get out but this gets backed up due to volume...

As a person who likes to try donuts every where I go, in search of the best, Brown's Donuts (so far) is one of the best, if not the best I have found. We got a variety to sample. The sausage and cheese rolls - oh my gosh. Amazing! They are fried and so light they melt in your mouth. The donuts were absolutely fantastic. They also melt in your mouth. Customer service was very friendly.
