My first time there. I was familiar with the name but somehow never made it to this place even though I worked downtown. Very friendly, warm greeting by owner, a unique and welcome touch. I was looking forward to the BBQ due to knowing the name and the look of the place. I placed my order for a 3-meat plate. The amount of food I received was about half of what I typically receive from other establishments. In fairness, the cost was well less, as well, but I want leftovers and didn't get any. As many reviewers have noted, the hot links were good. The sliced brisket was way too fatty for my choosing and I wasn't provided a knife to aid me in cutting, which I needed. Flavor ok, but there is no primary house sauce. You have to mix a sweet sauce with their hot sauce. While I don't personally like these sides, I expect them. With so much waste due to trimming needs, I didn't get a lot of brisket. It was quite moist, which is hard to do. Plus, they were out of many soft drinks, which I like a soda with BBQ and Mexican. I substituted sweet tea, which was good, but our waitress couldn't keep it full with only one table. So, all in all, a mixed bag but, ultimately, the real question is whether I enjoyed my dining experience enough to recommend and come back. Despite the friendliness, I...

The first time I EVER been here and it certainly will be my last. My wife and I chose this establishment for its location and great reviews but it was certainly a disappointment. We were welcomed warmly, however once inside overhearing a conversation from the employees about various fights on Worldstar I really was not impressed by their professionalism. The service was mediocre at best when my wife asked for a BBQ baked potato she was led to believe that they had available by two of the cooks she was told that they did not have any. So instead she ordered two kids meals and I ordered the Three Meat Combo with potatoe salad and Cole slaw. The food was horrible for the price. It was cold and appear to be dry. The kids got 1 piece of chicken in each of their orders with one piece of Warehouse Market bread. My dinner was just as unsatisfactory. Cold chicken that, once again, was dry. The chopped beef was in a meager portion. The only thing good about this entire meal was the hot links. I will not be coming here again and I will tell my friends and...

Good old mom & pop operation, stopped by just to try, wife when in and told them that we just wanted to try something to check out their food. Wife said it kind of took her back in time to her childhood, just the set up of the place, lay back and friendly. She ordered me the assorted plate which is sold by the lb. Like my order was only a 1/2 lb of meat. Taken that they were out of Bologna, told us 10 mins after order was taken little sloppy, would like to know if they use beef or chicken lip bologna, so my wife got me ribs, link sausage and chicken (i'm not big on chicken) came with bread, cole slaw potatoe salad and baked beans. Loved the ribs, sausage and sauce beans were a little dry but it was late in the day. Didnt care for their cole slaw but to each his own. Wife said they were all very friendly and willing to chat. I Will have to try this place during the day, to get a better ideal. Food &...

Stutts House of BBQ is a North Tulsa black owned institution. The bbq today with delicious with St.Louis ribs, hot links and smoked chicken was very good. The baked beans were sweet and filling. The potato salad had just the right amount of mustard not to be a distraction. The Sunday Special included smoked chicken, cornbread dressing with gravy, green beans, croissant and blackberry cobbler for $12.99! My only complaint was that the smoked beef was diced so small I couldn’t get a good bite of the texture. The place is small but Mrs Stutts and the patrons were all friendly.

I remember this location growing up when it was a different owner. North Tulsa is the place for the best BBQ in the world. Tried Stutts over the holidays. Beef was great, bologna sandwich was good. Service was great. I have to credit @Tulsafoodguy for making me add Stutts to my list of favorite BBQ spots. Enjoy update. Stutts was featured in the New York times. One of the last true BBQ pit places left. Mrs. Stutts is the sweetest person.

Good - **** I dont think you can get their lunch special as cheap as they give anywhere else. It comes with two meat(select two from ribs/chicken/beef brisket/hot link) baked beans, potato salad along with a buttermilk pie and 2 pieces of bread..The ribs were chewy.. Baked beans are the best. Hot links were ok. Potato salad was good. The ambience is not that great. Its a small restaurant in north tulsa. Overall it was an ok experience
