Winemakers Depot — Restaurant in Tumwater

We spent over $23,000 with Winemakers Depot. The Zottel stainless steel tanks arrived with visible rust and steel so worn down it was exposed to raw base metal — completely unfit for sanitary or food-grade use.

To ensure our concerns were valid, we consulted multiple professionals, including experienced winemakers and welders/metal fabricators. All confirmed the damage was unacceptable, and the tanks should have been returned or replaced without question.

Despite this, Winemakers Depot has refused to help, denied responsibility, and dragged the issue out for months. They have repeatedly lied, deflected blame, and gaslit us, even though the tanks were unused and the damage was reported immediately.

The time and energy I’ve had to spend dealing with this has been incredibly costly. It’s pulled me away from my work, my vineyard, and my family — all because a vendor refused to stand behind their product or their own stated policies.

Winemakers Depot does not honor their warranties, does not take responsibility, and shows zero regard for their customers.

I strongly urge others to avoid doing business with them — especially for high-value purchases. The risk is far too high, and their lack of accountability is...

AVOID THIS COMPANY. Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with David et al. at Winemaker's Depot. Attempting to buy a machine, and naturally having questions about the functionality of said machine, I tried to ask questions. Big mistake! I got nothing but unclear and condescending replies, complete wit ALL CAPS YELLING in their replies to me. This is on top of an ambiguously worded and frankly misleading product description, that was the reason for me needing to ask questions in the first place.
