Oh boy, where do I even start? First thing’s first, We didn’t get our drinks with our kiosk order, which is understandable. I go to many different McDonald’s where I have to ask at the front counter for my drinks. The only thing is, when I went to the front counter, one of the gentlemen looked at me multiple times, and even told someone he thought I needed help, only to be left standing at the counter for 5 - 7 minutes before a lady came and asked what I needed. After having gotten my drinks, I came to the realization that we had not received the cheeseburger happy meal we ordered with the rest of our food. I once again went to the front counter to ask for the missing happy meal, only for the same thing to happen and be left standing at the front counter for around 4 minutes this time. I was able to look into the kitchen and see the happy meal the entire time, but I guess they just forgot to give it to us. After a while, the gentleman that had blatantly looked at and ignored me, came to the front counter and began asking only the men still standing if they needed help. I forgot to mention that all of the fries that came with all the orders were cold and not fresh at all. At some point, I ordered a small shamrock shake, and a quarter pounder. Once the shamrock shake came out, there were a multitude of things wrong with it. There was no whipped cream, even though I had never asked for “no whipped cream” and had ordered a normal shake. There was also a lack of shamrock flavoring in the shake, which I am assuming is due to the lack of shamrock mix in their machine. On top of those two problems, the shake consistency itself was almost entirely liquid/milky. I was able to move the shake an inch away and the entire thing would move as if I had a soft drink in my hand. After this came to our attention, my son’s friend who works at a different McDonald’s went to the front counter and told the manager that it was not right and that there was something wrong with it, to which she answered “That’s how it is supposed to come out.” He came back to us without making a fuss with the manager, and we began talking about it amongst ourselves, to which the manager must have overheard and walked over and talked to us about it. She said that it was supposed to look like that, and that Is just how it comes out. My son’s two friends who both work at McDonald’s both piped up and spoke out about how the shake would only look like that if their mix was low. When they said this, her whole demeanor changed and she said “well, I don’t know what to tell you. Would you like a refund?” We answered no. We left without mentioning the lack of whipped cream. This was our experience with this McDonald’s. I would highly recommend not...
Read moreWe came to McDonald's to get the new McDonaldland meal and decided to eat in for the nostalgia. Idk what we were thinking with that idea, because the soullessness of McDonald's in the 2020's almost completely undid all of our wonderful memories from McDonald's in the 90s. One of us got the meal with a different flavor shake (chocolate). When it came out, it was obvious that they hadn't cleaned the machine from making the official meal shake, which is a blue raspberry type flavor. There was blue coloring and that blue raspberry flavor in the chocolate shake. These flavors do not mix. Next, we were missing a number of things: an order of fries, a straw, ketchup, etc. It took almost an act of God to get the attention of someone in the back to get our missing order of fries. They legitimately positioned themselves in such a way that looked like they were actively trying to hide from being seen. But these things were still minor compared to what we witnessed happen to someone else.
A Spanish speaking man came in and up to the counter (where no one was, of course). He waited for some time until the seemingly one employee came out. He expressed he only had cash and couldn't use the kiosk. She said "no one here can take your order right now" with a major attitude. Sorry? You're standing at the register that surely exists for some reason, and there's "no one" who can take this man's order? Surely this was nothing beyond plain old racism. He asked how he could pay for his food, if he only had cash. She said "you can use the kiosk." He reiterated "but I only have cash" to which she replied with some version of "all we have is the kiosk" and walked off.
This man went to the kiosk, stood there poking around at it for about five minutes, then left without food and didn't come back.
So just to recap: the employees at this location can't read, don't want to help you, have an attitude, and are racist. Nostalgia isn't strong enough to undo...
Read moreMy trainer & I arrived at the truck stop at 7pm. Went to the McDonalds to order a hot meal after being on the road for hours. My co driver ordered a frappe @ the cashier had a horrible attitude. The guy in front of us was served melting ice cream so the girl with no name tag and 14' inches of hair with no hair net, took the ice cream put it in cups and handed it to him. So we waited for her to then make the frappe just to walk away. The frappe sat in the blender for 15mins before she came back. We asked her if she had any cups to put it in confused as to why she hadn't served us yet! She said NOPE and rolled her eyes. She finally placed it in a cup to then putting the topping which was told to her twice not to. I ended up at this point not ordering because there were 5 other people in the lobby with wrong orders and waiting for their food. Finally the manager came to the front with a HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, STANK ATTITUDE & ignored all the customers. She made the second frappe wrong & my co driver then was told they have no drizzle for it & the truck was being unloaded but there was NO TRUCK! Walked off so at this point we have been waiting behind all the other people that were waiting before us for 25 mins! She demanded at refund and the manager said no she did not have a valid reason for a refund. All the years I've worked in restaurants & fast food. When things were that bad on the employees part we tried our best to accommodated and the customer was always allowed a refund. Customer was always right! DO NOT GO HERE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST GO TO SUBWAY...
