My daughter and I were coming back from Auburn when the oil hose went on my van. So we were broke down in front of this place. A good Samaritan had stopped and attempted to get us off the side of the road! We ended up on the grass in front of the restraint but not on purpose. Barely on the grass though! I had already been crying cuz this wasn't the first time my vehicle had broken down outta town. Anyway, after calling my husband and getting him to call AAA, we went in the restraunt. We didn't have much money but my daughter got an order of fries and we each got a drink then went back out to the van to wait for the tow truck! 40 mins later the older woman who I assumed was the owner began yelling at me about my mini van being parked on her septic tank! I tried to tell her I was sorry and didn't know I was on the septic tank. She asked me who was in the van with me and that who ever it was they had to get out And help her roll the van backwards off the slope where her septic tank was. She yelled at me to put my van in neutral and I did. But when her and my daughter couldn't roll the van back, she came over to my window and yelled at me again that there's no way I had it in neutral!! She leaned on the window across me to check for herself! Then she walked away and went back inside! 5 mins She reappeared with 3 HUGE guys and yelled at me to put my "Damn" van back in Neutral and turn my wheel! I tried to explain that I was having a hard time doing that So AGAIN she invaded my personal space and leaned in the window across me again and reefed very hard on the steering wheel to get the wheels to turn. The wheels didn't need to be turned to just roll the van DOWN a slope 10 feet. If that! The men she brought out with her didn't say a word to me even after I said thank you! She really scared me with all her yelling and leaning in my van window across me the two times she did! I didn't end up there on purpose. My daughter and I were already scared. The van had filled up with smoke and everything. The young man that has been driving behind us said he thought the van was on fire! So being in that situation, a friendly hand would have been the thing to do. I don't have X-Ray vision or anything so I honestly didn't know I had ended up on the slope where her septic tank. The tow truck driver said that the septic tank wasn't under that slope. He said it was about 100 feet away from where I was. That a septic tank wouldn't be under a slope. I had already been crying because of the van breaking down again situation, but after she came out yelling and screaming at me and everything else, I was even more afraid and upset! I know this is supposed to be about food and service, but I needed to put this exsperience out there too. My daughter did wait 10 mins to even place her French fry order and no one was in there! And it took 20 more mins for her to get her fry order. The fries were awful too!! I just think when you see someone in need of help and in distress that you shouldn't make it worse by yelling and...
Read moreOwners are VERY rude! I worked for them and barely made it through one night. The female owner was extremely mean and kept yelling at me for minor issues in front of customers. When I called them to find out how to go about getting paid for the shift I worked, she actually had the audacity to ask me if i thought that what i did there was work? wow. ive never been so disrespected in my life. Got the run around on how to get paid, and she even hung up on me, and then refused to take my call until i made a stink. i went there to fill out my w4 and was treated with even more disrespectful behavior by the owner. She even snatched the pen that they have chained at the counter right out of my hand and told me i couldnt use it. so i went into my car and filled out the paperwork, and made sure to bring MY pen in to donate it to them. 🙄 I sure hope I at least get my pay out of the situation. its no wonder they always have a Hiring sign on their board out front. After reading a lot of these reviews its pretty clear that they just have a common disrespect for people in general. Word of mouth travels fast and I know that my family and friends won’t be patronizing their establishment ever. Not to mention that they don't even sanitize their dishes, and i watched the owner make a top end pizza with prosciutto that was frozen and frostbitten. Disgusting...and i hope people realize that they have no affiliation with the pizza place in Lewiston... i’d hate to see Lewistons restaurant affected by these people. Sub par food. Sub...
Read morefor many years my family and I have LOVED their pizza. But be careful of putting your tip for take out on your credit or debit card there. The cashier had a hard time using my card and ended up running it through twice. I was double charged for my order. I brought this to the managers attention and they told me it was not their fault I should take it up with my bank. I called after two weeks just to make sure it was not a bank error. It really happened that I was charged twice. The owner called me after I asked for another pizza to settle the matter and refused my offer. She told me that happens all the time to them. They had a bad attitude to satisfy a loyal long term customer. I had to make a special trip to my bank to file a grievance. My bank told me that I was definitely charged twice and this is a rare occurrence. Like another reviewer said " the customer is always right". When a customer comes in with a bank statement proving that I was double charged do whats right and fix the situation. Don't blame my bank for your mistake. Don't give me a hard time! I have had a chance to speak with the owner of Antigonies and am glad to say that the issue has been resolved . They had a problem with their credit card reader . They changed the reader and fixed the problem. I guess I was not the only customer affected by this. I have used the very same card at this restaurant with no problem. I am back to enjoying their...
