I LOVE this place!

Parking is vast and free.. although a lot of it is unpaved, so get a carwash after not before 😂. The service of being seated was fast, barely had to wait very long to be seated. The friendliness of our waitress was inviting, polite, kind.. and she really made me feel comfortable, as this was my first time eating there; she made some solid recommendations, explained some dishes I had questions on and also made me laugh. I ended up ordering breakfast items for lunch, pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage and I added an order of bacon cheese fries. Doesn’t matter where I go or what time of the day it is; if I find that bacon cheese fries on the menu, I’m ordering the biggest size you have! An let me tell y’all, the bacon cheese fries DID NOT disappoint! Absolutely loved them.. and the breakfast food that arrived shortly after, I really loved all the food.

Loved the food, the service, the friendliness, the welcoming atmosphere.. However, after resting a bit (ate too much, lol) my visit to bathroom was vexing and a bit creepy; The bathroom was poorly lit, the one light that was working was flickering; I honestly felt like I was in a horror movie 😱☠️😭.. last meal an all that jazz 🤣. Upon our exiting of the restaurant I informed an employee of the men’s bathroom and I really hoped they fixed the issue.

Bathroom issue aside.. this is an excellent establishment!!!

I also revisited this restaurant for a second time approximately 2 weeks later, I tried the burger and fries that time.. the fries were delicious but the burger wasn’t anything special, it was still good food an not...

I've tried this place several times, and I just don't care for anything I've had, the cornbeef hash was burnt and so chunky it was not like any cornbeef HASH I have ever had before. The chilli is very bland and taste like tomato paste. The service is always slow, and they always forget to refill drinks, come back and ask how the food is, or bring all items ordered, they get it all on the bill though, then waiting around to get someone's attention to Pay so I can leave. If you have no place to go and can just sit around waiting on the staff and eat something to fill the hunger and not picky about what you get or don't get served, then I guess you will Love this place, I rather stay home and make homemade meals, I have worked in restaurants since I was 8 yrs old for my families Restaurants (as in more than 2) I continued to work in restaurants and food service until I sustained a back neck and hip injury that has left me unable to stand for extended time on cement floors. Not a fan of many restaurants in our area, all the good ones are in Boston,...

Im relieved to find a good breakfast place. Usually im searching around Rumford area n finding nothing good so this place is kinda like finding gold. In the seacoast of southern Maine Ive been spoiled with many good places to eat n meet up with friends but not here. Ive been been looking forward to a good cup of coffee n have not found such until this day at Terry n Maxines.....finally a really good cup of coffee to my liking. My eggs n hash were pretty good too. A little further away from home base but doable for me. I like this place...service n seating were good n comfortable. So happy when a restaurants has cozy booths instead of all tables....so inviting.
