Bison Street Burgers & Brews — Restaurant in Tuscarawas Township

First time stopping here and it will be the last time. All about supporting local and wanted to try this as some reviews were good and some weren’t.

The reviews that said this is bar food were sadly correct, it’s actually below bar food if that’s even possible??

The apps were OKAY, onion rings weren’t the best. We ordered bourbon wings and they did not taste anything like bourbon….

I was given this kind of brown syrup like texture butter for my sweet potato fries that I was told was very good. That sauce was the most disgusting, old and thicker than syrup and the beer cheese was equally disgusting.

Sweet tea wasn’t sweet, garlic parm wings were dry, not wet like we were told. The ranch is hidden valley ranch AND the Mac and cheese was disgusting. Every sauce here has a weird taste and leaves a bad taste in your mouth…

If this place wants to survive, fill its seats, then they should revamp their menu, and especially the QUALITY of the food.

The place is completely empty, that should have been the first warning.

If you’re reading this, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy….hopefully they make...

I walked in and the smell hit me, I should have trusted .y instincts and walked out. After sitting for awhile I realized it smelled like your attic. Why? Above the bar is a black piece of cloth hanging to cover an opening in the wall, that leads to the open space Above the drop ceiling over the kitchen. The A/C is not working properly, it is just as humid inside as it is outside. The windows are high on the wall, glass block, and covered inside. No daylight inside. Why? When you look around you see the dirt and dust. The food was less than ok. As they brought our food out the guy went to the table next to us, then turned around and walked back to the kitchen and then returned with our food. Paraded it through the restaurant before we got it. The fries were undercooked. The "house special" bison burger I ordered had no seasoning or flavor. A little salt and pepper helped it. Last night which was a Monday we decided we were going to order from Bison since it is a local business and my husband ate their before and really enjoyed it! I called them around 6pm, the phone was answered right away. I said I wanted to place an order for pick up. I then got the response of "hang on, I have to see if we are doing carry out today." I was waiting for a response for over two minutes. By the time they came back on the phone and said they were ready to take our order, we were irritated. I told them never mind, I wouldn't want to inconvenience them with having to make food and hung up. Had I been sitting in their facility I doubt I would have been told to wait to see if they were making food. It was not a delivery, it was an order going to be picked up by myself or my husband. Not sure if we will ever order here, because this first time experience...
