McDonald's — Restaurant in Tuscarora Township

My son and I went through the drive thru. The drive thru path is a little awkward due to having to go around the corner of the building after paying, but that was not a big deal. The menu, ordering process, and intercoms were all great. The person who took payment was polite, and explained the "around the corner" nature of the drive thru as soon as he saw the confused look on my face. Then I got to the second window and that's when things got strange. I sat there for six minutes straight before anyone came to the window. When someone finally did, she was about to say something to me, caught herself, and apologized because she thought I was someone else. She wished me a good day and started to close the window again (as though to send me on my way) and I had to hurriedly interrupt her to tell her that I still needed my order! She seemed genuinely confused, but got my order together quickly after that. The food was perfect according to my order, but I still feel like I was overlooked. It wasn't a busy day either; only one car was in the drive thru ahead of me, and...

I am an employee at this restaurant and after reading some these comments I'd like to say that the fact that we're slow in drive thru is because of how small we are as a building and the drive thru itself is compact. We try to focus on speed as well as quality. As far as cleanliness goes, it is very difficult for us to find time during our busy hours to clean, but we clean every time we get a break from orders. Tuesdays and Saturdays are the days we are delivered our stock so we are much slower in drive thru because we have two employees pushing large crates of boxes through the drive thru line as fast as possible as to not interrupt the flow.

These are just some of the behind scenes things that I think get overlooked or don't get thought of. Myself and the entire crew of this restaurant do apologize if we have not done our jobs as well...

Came from out of town heading back to home. We had been camping and didn't get to make breakfast due to the rain. stopped in at this Mcdonalds. This Mcdonalds is a smaller store that is right in with a gas station which is convenient. This store in particular is smaller than the ones that I am used to here at home, but it was nice and clean. This store has removed the self-serve drink station so I believe if you wanted a refill you would have to ask the counter. I didn't need one, so I am unsure if they allow refills or not. Otherwise, they did great with putting EXTRA breakfast sauce on our sandwiches, which is what we ordered (ours at home are pretty stingy when we pay for the extra lol).
