Cactus Jack's Cantina — Restaurant in Tushka

At first this place was amazing! Great tasting food and great service. But now it’s gone down hill… the service is horrible you can’t ever get someone to answer the phone and when they finally do it’s after you’ve called them 10+ times. When they do answer they’re obviously annoyed cause you’ve called so many times. You’d think maybe they’re just busy and that’s why they didn’t answer, then when you get up to the restaurant they’re dead, you walk in and the employees are just hanging out at a booth or in the bar with some customers. When you get home after getting your food you sit down ready to eat you open the bag and there’s queso everywhere. All over the inside of the bag and all over the to go boxes… then you look closer and the food is wrong. This has happened many times. At this point i will no longer be ordering to go and I will only be eating inside. Now onto the service when you’re there to sit down and eat. Sadly it’s just as bad, the booths and tables are covered with mess from the past customers and the “clean ones” are still dirty like they didn’t wipe them down. They never check up on you they bring you your drinks, chips and dips, leave come back to take your order, bring you your food and never come back around. You look around and there’s booths and tables dirty all around you and you wonder what’s going on for them to be so behind even though there really isn’t anyone hardly there expect for maybe a couple of other tables. The food doesn’t taste as good as it once did. I loved their beef it had a nice spice to it but somewhere they lost that. The chicken isn’t as good either. One time my chimichanga wasn’t even cooked all the way through and tough to chew. I really loved this place, as a local who lives 3 mins away from them I really liked having a restaurant so close cause for a good place to eat you’d have to go all the way to atoka and sometimes you just don’t wanna do that. Sadly I probably won’t be eating here as much as I used to. I definitely will not be ordering to go ever again, to many times has my food been wrong or just way to messy. So if I am to eat there...

Our waitress was good and the food was okay as expected. The bartender was below par. I ordered a sloppy ND it came out in a glass that had a half moon crack from one side to the other. I showed the waitress and she asked the bartender to make a new one. The second one was broken on the rim and a piece of glass actually came off when I went to take a drink. I brought that to the waitress's attention because I personally would prefer not to eat glass if I can avoid it. The bartender was outside smoking and we'll within earshot of my table and said 'We'll she's not getting another sloppy...she can have a margarita in a Styrofoam cup..'. Had I wanted margaritas i would have ordered that to begin with. My daughter arrived and I went in with her to order her and I a drink. The bartender got her drink made and walked away not acknowledging the fact that I was standing at the bar as well. She did not ask if I needed anything nor was there ever an apology of any sort for the 2 broken glasses that I was presented with. I had forgotten why I didn't go to Cactus but I remembered after this visit. Her attitude is horrible and makes customers feel like they are beneath her or wrong for wanting what they order and they are infringing on her valuable time. Not a...

Awesome people and great place to hang out. Was told she started as a food truck and come to this being her life. The Tacos, alright if the shells are grilled first. I bit into mine and exploded all over.. Tasted great though, don't get me wrong.

Laughing with and meeting the locals is always a comfortable feeling to give you a great feeling and enticing feeling to come back (in which I will.)

SLOPPY BEER.? A must try. I started with Bud Light.. No matter the beer, it's awesome..
