Went with family to check out the new Rita's Super Club. We had a couple drinks at the bar before dinner. Drinks were not good, bartender was friendly, but didn't know where anything was and spent alot of time having to chase around looking for things and for answers. Worst old fashions ever. Line up to check in to be seated for a dinner table was awkward as we stood by the stairs not knowing what to do and had to to walk down and find a server to be seated. We all were understanding that it's a " new restaurant" but there should have been some staff meetings to have everyone on the same page to know their work space and to know their menu. Our waitress was great and was a go-getter on the run to accommodate our requests, but she didn't know the menu very well. The menu itself, on a peice of printed paper, which is fine is they are switching up their menu items from day to day, but it is very vague, no descriptions of the entrees, so you have to ask your server what everything is and what it comes with, so they need to be knowledgeable. Food was mediocre at best. 2 people got the prime rib, they didn't eat much of it, very cordy & tough. One got the new york strip, was ok, food was not hot. Salad bar, no buns in the basket, soup container was almost empty, the few bites I did have, was very good chicken dumpling, probably my favorite part of our meal. Ohhh and the silverware is Dollar Tree quality!!! It took me 10 minutes to cut up my New York strip steak which was EXTREMELY FATTY. My review is strictly for management to read the reviews and learn from it to start a thriving business, as Two Rivers is very small and not alot of choices for a "supper club meal" IF everything is good and worth the price, we will keep coming back. The current prices of the meats are way too high for the quality served. $48 for an 8 oz filet mignon is very high, for family diner quality food, NOT supper club value. My review would be a 4 out of 10. We do hope to go back in a couple months and have an...
Read moreWe were so excited to have Rita’s Supper Club move into this space! Our excitement started to wane however, upon taking a seat at the bar. The bartenders were not familiar with their liquor offering, and as we quickly learned, were unfamiliar with bartending overall. Our server did not know how to make the cocktail that was requested, nor did she know what glasses to use - even for a glass of wine. When we asked about getting a table for dinner, the bartender pointed to a line of people waiting to be seated saying, “that’s how Rita does it”. With one person in our group using a walker, the situation was becoming more uncomfortable and uninviting by the minute. A moment later, the proprietor (Rita) did come over to assist, showing us to a table. Unsure if staying was the right thing to do, we rolled the dice on dinner, quickly learning this was not the right decision. It took 10 minutes before our waitress appeared (they were clearly understaffed and overwhelmed). After ordering, we turned to the poorly organized salad bar where you had to circle completely in order to access all that was available. Waiting for dinner, drinks long empty, we watched servers serve other tables in chaos. The room was so poorly arranged for service, staff used other dining tables (including those in use by other diners!) for service and bussing stations. After a 50 min wait, we flagged down our server and asked for an update. Three minutes after that our food was served. Most of it was barely warm and average at best. It was all a great disappointment. We want Rita’s to succeed but there is a lot of work to be done, starting with...
Read moreWe sat at the bar before dinner, ordered old fashions. They were definitely not what they used to be. They were not muddled and not sweet at all. Bartender was new, very unorganized, talked more than made drinks. When we were seated in the dining room our server Emily was very nice. I asked about the stuffed shrimp. She said it's 5 per order. We went up to salad bar which was decent. Although no garlic toast and cheese....definitely bring that back!!! We sat down and within 3 minutes our food was brought out. All of us had just started eating our salad. We ordered 2 prime ribs, new york strip, and stuffed shrimp. Stuffed shrimp came and it was only 4 pieces, pretty small and rather bland. Prime rib was barely warm and mashed potatoes were the same. Gravy tasted like a tin can. Both of our primes were so cordy, could not even cut it. It didn't even look like a true prime rib...not sure what that was. Probably the worst one we've ever had. Strip was ordered rare, came out med well. Emily noticed that and immediately sent it back. -Overall experience was truly disappointing. -Prices do not equal the food quality. -Servers should be trained on menu items -Should have at least 10 minute tickets -Bartenders should be trained on all drink items and...
