I’m honestly shocked at how many amazing restaurants I haven’t tried or even heard about in Tyler. A perfect example of such a place would be Teodora's Enchiladas. I recently had a few people highly recommend their food. I knew I had to try them out for myself and I’m so glad I did. I showed up right at 12 for lunch today. I was actually the first car that pulled in. Within minutes, multiple cars started to arrive. I knew I was in the right spot. I walked up to the front counter/window to place my order and I was instantly greeted by a very kind woman named Yesenia. I told her it was my first time and she even gave me a really good recommendation on what to order. I ordered the #7. It included 3 enchiladas rojos and 2 quesadilla doradas. She gave me the option for an extra piece of chicken (which they throw in for free), so of course I said yes. It also comes with queso fresco and cabbage. I ordered mine without the cabbage, seeing as I’ve never been a fan of it🤷🏼‍♂️. Everything was delicious. The chicken itself (one thigh and one strip) were both very tender, juicy, and well seasoned/marinated. I tore it all up into pieces and took a bite of chicken with each bite of the enchilada. I also put some chicken in the tacos. They were fried to perfection by the way. I think next time I’ll add some avocado as well. To go along with my meal, I ordered the horchata. It was honestly very good. It was sweet, but not overkill like others I’ve had over the years. I even ordered some of the churro cheesecake. I believe she said they have it delivered from “Pastries By Lizel”. It was incredible😍 I highly recommend trying Teodora’s. I know I’m looking forward to trying the rest of their menu as well.

I'm not typically a fan of Mexican food but this place does it the best. They are amazing. There enchiladas are so good I typically drive across town once or twice a week to indulge, and there Auga frescas are like no other. You seriously have to try it yourself to understand. It's worth the drive worth the wait and worth the money, I seriously recommend.

Umm. I don’t think this is chicken. Looks more like a bat. Two of three entrees were supposed to have beef. Nothing but a little … cheese? Surprised they added the avocados. Had plenty of stares and staff wouldn’t make eye contact as we were not the majority 🙄 don’t recommend. Waste of money.

The food is good. The service is terrible! My husband and I went for a quick dinner. He placed his order, we sat down, and the waitress comes out with a plate of tostadas he explained to her that he did not order it. Maybe it was someone else's order... She left to check but returned with the tostadas again and a male from the back. We then explained to the man that this was not what we ordered. And he proceeded to tell us this was what we ordered and kept insisting as if trying to force us to take the food we didn't order. Then the register women joined the conversation and this is when it being to get extremely rude. She started to argue with my husband that (she took his order, so..., she knows what he ordered!" Oh and through all of this ordeal they stated they couldn't take this plate back and we should just take it because we order it! And that if we wanted the order of Quesadillas Doradas we'd have to play for it. Needless to say we just finally just took the tostadas and left the plate on the table and never touched it, why because we never order that plate regardless of them insisting that we did. Never have I had such terrible customer service at...

The food is very delicious but the customer service is horrible. Despite the positive feedback they have, my experience was not reflective on that. The cashier was very rude and unwelcoming. I ordered the #1 and asked if I could have the chicken breast served for my side of chicken. With an attitude, she replied, “I don’t know what’s back there so you’ll get what we have.” I added that I would pay extra, no problem at all. Without looking at me she replied again, “Like I said, idk what’s back there. So if there’s no breast, you don’t want the chicken added or what?” I just agreed to take what she had. I would just give the chicken to my husband. Idk if she was having a bad day but there’s no need to talk to customers that way. I felt so embarrassed the way she spoke to me with customers...
