Panther Pizza Milford Center — Restaurant in Union Township

I want to like this place. No, I want to LOVE this place, but there have been too many mishaps for too long to safely recommend it. I'll go down the litany of problems to save time:

1. They don't open on time and in fact might not be open for over an hour from their posted schedule. It's hard to plan for this...
2. The toppings are REALLY inconsistent. One time you will have 10 pepperonis on a large and the next time you will have two layers of them.
3. I've had under cooked and over cooked pizza just as often as properly cooked.
4. You can have the line ringing busy for ten minutes straight only to drive there to place your order only to find the two teenagers who run the place sitting around doing nothing.
5. On four different occasions we have either got the entirely wrong order, not got our entire order, or they have lost our order altogether.
6. They say they deliver, but more often than not they don't have a driver available. It's safe to assume you will not be able to have it delivered.
7. It is too expensive for what you get. As I stated, the quality fluctuates which certainly does not help matters, but even on the off chance it is right it is just not worth the money. The prices are on par with Donatos but far below the quality.
8. It takes too long to get your food. Even when they pick the phone up right away it will never be less than 40 minutes, period. So, here is a typical experience: You call at 4:30 and the phone rings and rings. You drive by and they are still closed even though the door, print ad, and website all say they open at 4:00. You wait until 5:15 and they do answer, but put you on hold. After waiting for two minutes they take your order, but do not ask for your name or anything else and inform you it will be 45 minutes and about $5 to $10 too much compared to better pizza elsewhere. You ask about delivery, but they tell you the driver hasn't come in yet, or just quit. After 45 minutes you go back to the store, and they can't find your order. Since they didn't ask you your name or any other identifier, they have to search by what you ordered and still can't find it. They then finally admit that they lost the order and will hurry and make another one for you. You leave and come back a third time and they finally have your order ready at 6:45 (when you tried to order it at 4:30 mind you). They don't offer to give a discount or anything else, and you just go home only to find the pizza has about half the toppings it should have and is burnt. That was my most recent experience. In all honesty, I still order from there because I want to support my local businesses especially here in Milford Center, but it is always a fairly painful process and I just wish the owners would take an active interest in getting it up to par. It's like they just abandoned Panther Pizza after it opened. I only ever see teenagers doing everything and they are honestly trying. I'm not a jerk to them because I do not hold them to blame. The manager/ owner should be far more active at this location. If they aren't careful, it's going to fail and it doesn't have to! Just fix this mess and take pride in what you are selling and doing and respect...

New to the area and grateful to have such an excellent resource close by. I've read some reviews about the service. I'd only offer my experience. The service was excellent. The food was priced well, well-made, and tasted great! Maybe with the other reviews, the Rona played a factor in things.
