we went here because of the interesting history. The menu was pretty much bar food. my boyfriend really enjoyed the beef sandwich and everything was good overall inside bartender was super nice. very welcoming. We did want to sit outside because the weather was nice. however, we sat there for a good 15 to 20 minutes and the outside bartender/server literally ignored us. she looked our way and went to talk to other customers that were out there so it was pretty evident she was not going to give us the time of day. that is really disappointing. I understand that this is another one of Niko's restaurants. We are regular customers at his Woodstock location and never had a problem with service. we will go try it again and I will speak up because that is unacceptable to be blatantly...

A nice little tavern in Union. My wife and I stopped in for lunch recently. The waitress was very friendly and checked on us numerous times to make sure we had everything we needed. I ordered their Ahi tuna sandwich. They will cook it however you like but their recommendation was rare which is what I went with. It was definitely rare - some parts were a bright red. As I love sushi, that was fine with me, but if you're not into raw or semi-raw fish, take note. They served it with a tasty homemade Asian glaze. My wife had the shrimp and liked it. We had a great time last night when on the spur of the moment we went to Clasens for dinner. I havent been there in about 20 yrs, it was before the remodel so whatever year that was. The meal was great - my husband had the traditional cheeseburger and fries , I had the Cesar salad with the mahi mahi tuna steak. We started with delicious fried calamari. Great job. Friday night they have acoustic guitar player. He was very good. The atmosphere was upbeat and fun. I even saw people from years ago, so a close knit friendly crowd.
