Trying out new places in Monee I came across this hoagie place. The food looks almost identical to "Tony's Hoagies" back in Chicago. They even have a "sweet steak sandwich" on the menu which I assume is just bread & meat covered in low grade BBQ sauce like Tony's. I took my chances & ordered a suppa philly steak, buffalo chicken fries, fried snickers, fried twinkies & some "suppa punch." The overall prices were on the medium-high end with the sandwich costing $14, but included no fries or drink. Customer Service: Took awhile to get my order out of the door. Placed order around 12:30pm & they didn't finish it until around 1:05pm. UberEats driver got there around 12:45pm & waited 20 minutes for a relatively small, simple order. Buffalo Chicken Fries: Appearance - No wonder these were $7 because the portion is big. They make no qualms about using cheap looking, thick buffalo sauce & grinded up dark meat. There's seemingly not a breast in sight. It honestly feels like they are hiding something since I've never seen anyone bother grinding chicken before. It seems to work out for the fries though since you'll get grounded bits in every bite. Taste - Slight spice in every bite. That builds up as you parse through it. Eventually you feel the full on burn. The buffalo sauce is weirdly slimey. Chicken tastes more like pork which makes me even more curious as to why they ground it up. The copious amounts of sauce makes everything moist, but it's thickness keeps it from soaking in too much & making it too moist. It's a pretty solid dish that'll fill you up by itself. 3/5 Shugga Shack Punch: It's pretty obvious that this is just Kool-aid brand fruit punch with minimal sugar added. 3/5 Deep Fried Twinkie: Appearance - It's a twinkie deep fried. They attempted to put some powdered sugar on it & it got a bit messy so they threw in an extra one. 3/5 Taste - It seems like a good amount of cream escaped when it was fried. The second one fared better. Super sweet. I honestly don't think they even needed the powdered sugar. It's enjoyable in small bites. 3/5 Deep Fried Snickers: Appearance - Poor Snickers...lightly fried so that it doesn't melt, but did anyway. They should probably deep these things in a thicker batter then freeze it instead of doing it all fresh. That way they can fry it longer. 2/5 Taste - It's a snicker dipped in cake batter. Not much to it, but it does lose that strong flavor of nougat & caramel. Everything is more mild with the batter's flavor taking over. I can't see myself trying more of these. 3/5 Suppa Philly Steak: Appearance - Oh my god this thing is MASSIVE! Copious amounts of steak with a light layer of lettuce & tomato. For $14 they give you everything you'd expect. There's small amounts of chopped green pepper mixed into the meat. 5/5 Taste - Hands down one of the best Philly steak sandwiches I've ever had. The meat is moist, seasoned almost flawlessly & smells insanely good. The sandwich itself somehow manages to stay together as I wrestled with it, letting only a few strands of lettuce slip away. The half slice tomatoes were the most troublesome when biting it. Maybe try pureeing or dicing them. You can't get enough, but at some point you realize you have to stop. Even then, once you stop you still have a massive amount left. 5/5 Overall: Shugga Shack is a great sandwich shop. Outside of the sandwiches it's hit or miss. A few tweaks to the recipes would fix sme of their issues, but I definitely see myself coming back frequently for the sandwiches. A faster way to get orders out the door would do them good as well. 3.5 out of 5 stars

It was close to closing and i ordered garlic butter fries, they gave me butter alright and didn’t give me the sauce on my fries. The fries were swimming in it. Steak sandwich was ok and the assorted sandwich was dry and didn’t have my extra meat and the bread was hard.

We really enjoyed our dinner from Shugga Shack last night. We loved the garlic fries and the Philly steak it was enough for us to split and the egg roll was amazing very tasty food. I would come again. The nachos were very tasty too. Very reasonable prices.

So no. First of all the customer service is awful. I walked in and the girl at the register acted like I was interrupting her day. The cost of the food is way too much for what you receive. And finally why does everything in this place have to be sweet? I purposely asked for no sweet sauce on my chicken Philly and was told it doesn't come on the Philly but the sandwich was still sweet. I ordered fries never asked for any sauce on them but they came drenched in sauce that was extremely sweet THEN they added salt to boot. Yeah this place sucks and has to be responsible for at least half the diabetes in this area. Of course it isn't on them what you eat but seriously why can't you just have regular fast food without everything suffocating in sugar. If I could do zero stars I would. They also take an inordinate amount of time to make the food. Like I said nothing about this spot makes me...

I usually don't write reviews but I will today whoever the black skinny dude with glasses on that's on the grill is a complete douchebag with a poor attitude I came in Monday afternoon as I usually do and this dude had the worst attitude and customer service known to man whoever he is you need to fire him he was on the phone talking real Reckless to somebody I'm assuming was a customer that complained about their food and he said and I quote I do not care no refunds I also overheard him talking to an employee like she was beneath him I overheard her say his name is Michael literally every time I come into this place he has a attitude and customer service with him is nonexistent poor attitude poor work ethic other than that the food was good but he needs...
