MOOYA: Moo-tastic Burgers, Fries, and Shakes that Rock Your Taste Buds Calling all burger aficionados and milkshake maniacs! I recently ventured into the land of MOOYA Burgers, Fries & Shakes, and let me tell you, it was a culinary expedition worth every drool-worthy bite. Prepare yourselves, because I'm about to paint a picture of burger bliss. Burgers: Buckle up, because the Mushroom Swiss Burger (9/10) is a symphonic blend of savory and melty. Imagine juicy, seasoned beef patty cradled in a toasted bun, its warmth amplifying the richness of earthy sautéed mushrooms and the creamy comfort of gooey Swiss cheese. Each bite is a perfect harmony of textures and flavors, leaving you humming a satisfied tune of "mmm-mmm." But wait, there's more! The Best Quesonario Burger (10/10) steals the show, hands down. Picture this: a fiesta of juicy beef, topped with firey jalapenos, crispy onion strings, and a generous slathering of melty green Chile queso. Every bite is a south-of-the-border explosion of spice, crunch, and creamy cheese, leaving you yearning for a margarita (or another burger!). Fries: The fries (8/10) are solid contenders, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They're the perfect canvas for dipping in ranch or ketchup, but be warned: they disappear quicker than you can say "french fry." Shakes: Now, brace yourselves for the pièce de résistance: the milkshakes. The Peppermint shake (9/10) is a cool, refreshing blast of minty goodness. Creamy vanilla ice cream mingles with the invigorating tingle of peppermint, creating a flavor that's both familiar and exciting. But the champ, the undisputed milkshake king, is the Cookie Butter shake (10/10). Imagine this: rich vanilla ice cream infused with the warm, spiced magic of cookies. It's like biting into a Christmas cookie in shake form, a cozy sweetness that melts your heart as it chills your palate. Service: And let's not forget the cherry on top – the service (10/10). The MOOYA crew is friendly, helpful, and genuinely jazzed to share their burger and shake paradise. They're happy to guide you through the menu, offering recommendations and customizations with a smile. The Verdict: MOOYA is more than just a burger joint – it's a temple of patty perfection, fry nirvana, and shake heaven. With its killer burgers, top-notch fries, and mind-blowing shakes, MOOYA is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates good food and good vibes. So grab your napkin, unleash your inner burger beast, and get ready to Moo-YA with joy!

Either I'm out of the loop, or Mooyah had the softest opening ever, like feather soft. Either way, I got word of Mooyah's existence and now I'm here writing about them. Founded in 2007 in Plano, Texas, Mooyah has over 100 locations in 22 states with a presence internationally (and they are still growing). They specialize in burgers, fries, and shakes, with an emphasis on using 100% certified angus beef. On the day I went, I had the burger, fries, and shakes and yes they were really, really good. Everything tasted fresh; you can taste the high quality ingredients. I was almost reminded of the Shake Shack actually. As good as everything was (the Oreo shake was amazing), I did not like my burger wrapped in foil. My burger looked deformed and squashed. Food should taste good, smell good, and look good right? Overall, my experience was good here. The staff was friendly. The restaurant looked nice and modern. And the food was good. Check this place out.

Bad food and bad service. I went in for a pickup order on a pretty busy Saturday afternoon and they had one girl taking the orders and handling the pickups, while the guy wasted time talking to two ex employees. I tried to get his attention to ask for my pickup order and he outright ignored me. He did make sure the two ex-employees got their free drinks and whatever else they needed while paying customers had to wait for the one girl who was actually working. Shoutout to homegirl who was holding down this establishment and not complaining, I would hate working with coworkers like that. I come home to open my food and this is what the hot dogs from our $8 kids meals look like, and our fries were ice cold even though I arrived at the scheduled pickup time. How does an American restaurant mess up a hot dog this bad? 😂

This location, again, is right off old Route 66, which is Foothill Boulevard at Euclid Avenue in the city of Upland. I believe the Mooyah chain is a relatively new addition to the SoCal area. The restaurant is tucked in a strip mall just north of the Mountain Mike's Pizza. It is a small location and it does not have a drive through. The restaurant was very clean and neat. The dining room is not large but comfortable. This place serves up build your own burgers. They also serve fries, sweet potato fries and home-made kettle chips. The also have shakes which I have not yet tried. They do have some burger selections that you can order without choosing your own toppings. But they seem to specialize in making it to your order. You get a choice of meats, cheeses, sauces and vegetables. I noticed they have more pre determined menu options on their online menu than there were on the posted restaurant menu. We got two double build your own burgers, one with sweet potato fries and the other with chips. There are so many burger places in SoCal, that it can be difficult to set your place apart. I feel Mooyah has achieved this in a couple of ways. First of all, the ingredients are clearly very fresh and very tasty. The food is more expensive than fast food but the quality of the meal was top notch. The presentation was really nice with the items laid out in a pleasing way. The sides were also all really great. There were no limp sweet potato fries and the chips were great. This was our second visit and I can attest that the regular fries are the same. The burgers were very good but I must mention the bread, which was phenomenal. My understanding is they bake the bread in house and it is fantastic. I know it is weird to rave about bread with a hamburger but it truly elevated the burger to another level. All in all I recommend Mooyah for any burger lover. I also need to mention how nice the staff was there. Both times we have gone the staff has been so friendly and nice. We were served by Savannah and she was so helpful. I hope you find this review helpful and I hope you give them a try....

My recent visit to Mooyah was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the radiant Evangeline. Her warm and inviting presence truly made my experience at this mom and pop burger joint unforgettable.

From the moment I approached the counter, Evangeline's genuine smile and enthusiasm created a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the entire visit. Her passion for her work was evident, and it was clear that she takes pride in providing top-notch service to every customer.

Her attention to detail and personalized approach made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.

What truly sets Evangeline apart is her exceptional multitasking skills. Despite the busy evening rush, she managed the counter with grace and efficiency, seamlessly handling orders while still providing each customer with the attention they deserved. Her ability to balance speed and service is a testament to her dedication to creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience.

Mooyah is undoubtedly a gem of a burger joint, and Evangeline is the shining star behind the counter. Her dedication to customer satisfaction and her infectious energy elevate the entire dining experience. I left Mooyah not only with a satisfied appetite but also with a newfound appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Evangeline.

If you're looking for more than just a great burger – if you want an experience that leaves you with a smile – make sure to visit Mooyah and let Evangeline work her magic. Her exceptional service has earned Mooyah a permanent spot in my list of favorite eateries, and I can't wait to return for another delightful encounter with Evangeline's warm...
