Pacific Wine Merchants — Restaurant in Upland

This place is one of the -- not exactly unsung, but insufficiently sung -- gems of Upland. The wine selection is good and the cigar selection is excellent; regarding wines, in particular, I have found Italian and French reds that compare favorably with what a larger establishment like Liquorama can offer, and at decent prices, too. Folks are quite friendly to strangers (by no means something to take for granted in the hip bar scene) and the ambience is pleasant, both indoors at the boor, and outdoors at the patio. They have a great team going on right now. They have been awesome at promoting tap takeovers and wine tasting nights, along with a great cigar sale. Great selection of beers and wine to try served with big smiles. I always receive a warm welcome no matter the person that's serving behind the bar. They also have a guy educating you on your journey through the wine flight you'll taste that's featured for that event. Awesome selection of wines. Tasting. Craft beers on tap. Inside small cozy bar. Nice size walk in humidor. Only suggestion I would offer is change up the cigar inventory.
