Good old Italian pizza spot. This place had a coziness to it that I can’t describe.
You know those places that feel like they belong in a movie? Tucked down a dusty road, past miles of open land, sits a little pizza spot run by an old couple who clearly put their heart and soul into every inch of it.
Walking in, you’re greeted not just by the smell of fresh dough and slow-simmered tomato sauce, but by two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. No frills, no flash—just worn wooden booths, faded family photos on the walls, and the kind of warmth that can’t be faked.
And the pizza? Unreal. The crust is perfectly crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside—the kind of texture only decades of experience can deliver. The sauce has a slow-cooked richness, slightly sweet with just enough tang, and the cheese bubbles over the edges in that golden, slightly burnt way you secretly love. Every bite tastes like it came from a recipe passed down, tested, and perfected for generations.
They don’t rush. They don’t cut corners. You won’t find QR codes or fancy cocktails—but you will find a cold soda, a game of checkers waiting by the window, and a level of care that’s almost impossible to come by anymore.
If you’re ever passing through—or even if you’re not—this place is worth the detour. It’s not just a meal....
Read moreWe stopped here after a quick search on Gmaps and this was very close to the a local winery we were visiting so we decided to give it a try and it was fantastic. While the building needs some maintenance that can be over looked since they just opened last year and right now a lot of places are just trying to keep the lights on during this pandemic. But I cant say enough how amazing the food was. Since being back in the Jersey area and growing up here I can say honestly this is some of the best pizza I've had in years! Perfect crust, thin and crispy but still gets a good fold without breaking, the sauce (gravy) had a wonderful flavor, no bald spots on the cheese and plenty of toppings. The two men running it were friendly and the food came quickly. We sat outside and it was lovely and felt very safe with everything going on. Its far from where I live but if I'm in the area again I'm going to grab a pie or two to bring...
Read moreThese reviews have to be family and friends or something. Decided to give this place a shot after seeing some of these reviews. I've been hesitant because I pass this place constantly and it's always dead. So I called for a pizza for takeout. They told me 20 minutes. I let my wife know who was going to pick it up. She shows up 17 minutes later from the call. Tells them she's here for the pizza I called in and guess what! They never even made it!! They were sitting behind the counter doing nothing she said when she came in. She said she had to wait another 15 minutes sitting there. I told her to just leave if that's the type of business they run. They weren't busy at all she said and they weren't making any other orders while she waited. No excuse for what they did. The pizza was also God's honest truth mediocre. I've had plenty of better pizza from many of the other local places. Obviously I will never...
