Tapped Out at Sweet Water — Restaurant in Upper Hanover Township

We had our wedding their this past weekend in the torrential down pour. Jeff, Heather, and Kathy were amazing to work with throughout it all. They continuously checked on the bridal party while we decided whether to pull the event inside or wait it out. They made sure all our guests were taken care of in the mean time so we didn't have to. As soon as we decided to move things inside the kitchen and banquet staff moved quickly and efficiently to put everything together and get the ceremony moved from outside to inside. Throughout the night Heather and Kathy checked on me and did everything they could to make the night go as smoothly as possible. Having been in banquet servicing myself in the past I'm very focused on how staff handles themselves, and the staff at The Loft were amazing! They constantly checked on guests and provided everything asked of them. The chef Karl did a fantastic job with all the meals as well. We had multiple different types of allergies and he was able to accommodate and work around every single one. The food was great as to be expected after doing the tasting earlier this year. My husband kept repeating he could not wait until wedding day if only to have the steak again. The venue is stunning for both inside and outside events. Heather and her staff stayed after to help with clean up as well. Throughout the night and up through today I am still getting comments from guests about how wonderful the service and location was at The Loft. I could not have found a more customer service focused business. I did not have to worry about anything, and got to enjoy my night with my new husband and family. I had people come from all over the world and everyone was commenting on how great the staff, service, and appearance at The Loft was. This review is specifically for the "Tapped Out Pub" at Sweetwater, and the horrific LACK of service we received. We had dinner reservations for two for 6:00. We arrived at 5:40 and was told by a waitress to "sit wherever you want". Including us, there was a total of 5 tables being serviced by two waitresses. We literally sat at our table for 25 minutes... no food menu was offered, no drink orders were taken, and no one came over to say "Sorry for the wait, we'll be right with you"...

ZERO COMMUNICATION!!!

Although we didn't get to order, we did overhear the waitress tell the table next to us that "the chef only has 6 shrimp left and can't complete your order of 8 shrimp in the shrimp basket... would you like to order something else?"

How does a restaurant run out of food at 6:00 on a Saturday?!?!?

We put on our coats at 6:00 and took our business to a different restaurant. I have no idea if the food is any good at Tapped Out... honestly the quality if food doesn't matter if you...

I had the pleasure of participating in one of my best friend's wedding at this facility, yesterday 26 Aug 2017, however my experience with the staff was less than pleasurable. First and foremost, I want to say that the facility was splendid and the grounds were beautiful. However, the staff members that we dealt with were absolutely deplorable. They were incredibly rude and seemed to be ill prepared in the planning and orchestrating of a wedding. Almost every member of the bridal party had at least one negative experience with one or more of the staff members at the facility. From the man running the pro shop, where the groomsmen stayed while the bride and the bridesmaids were getting ready, to the owner and the event coordinator, almost all of the staff were rude and had a terrible attitude.
