I’ve enjoyed their sandwiches at lunch while attending the auction next door. Last night, 4 of us ate dinner there for the first time. We all raved about the food, from the first bite to the last. Two appetizers of pierogies with butter and onions were scrumptious. They were fresh, not frozen, and we devoured them. Three orders of fish & chips were impressively huge and the fresh pollack was hand battered. The fries were crispy and the whole dish was a hit. I had crab cakes that were almost entirely sweet and succulent crabmeat, with no filler in evidence. Loved them! My sides of fresh, local, green beans sautéed with garlic, and homemade mashed potatoes, were perfect. We all took home leftovers but two of us ordered dessert anyway: a big slice of chocolate mouse cake with chocolate sauce, as good as anywhere Ive ever eaten, and again, it was freshly homemade, not frozen. His wife, Jen & family run the front end with exceptional service, making you feel like part of their family, whether you're dining in, taking out, or enjoying their catering. We’ve relied on them for everything from catering holidays, festivals at our business, to birthday parties, and most recently, Jeff made me an amazing fresh batch of vegetable soup when I was feeling ill. We had Rustica cater our wedding and we were absolutely amazed! They are a wonderful family to work with! Haylie was so great to work with while planning and organizing the menu! Her family worked the wedding and executed everything perfectly! We had so many compliments on dinner and everyone wanted to know who we used!
